Hearing this without the vocals, it just once again demonstrates how brilliantly these songs were orchestrated so as to always "make way" for the vocals, and filling in the spaces in between so cleverly. Never in competition with the vocals, the orchestration is subdued when Agnetha and Frida sing, but does little runs and flourishes in the unsung spaces. Brilliant. I love this.

One of the highlights of ABBA the Album. 😊 It always brings to mind the theme tune of the television series "Hart to Hart" - seeing as the show aired two years after "I'm a Marionette", I can't help thinking that the composer Mark Snow was inspired by ABBA.
