I set 3 simple new year's resolutions for the year of 2017! Although it's almost the end of January, I wanted to let you guys know what my plans are for this new year. Plus I didn't have much time to film a video for the past month since I've been gone to China. What are your resolutions? You're so beautiful Lena 😭😭😭. If I looked half as good as you did going to the gym I'd be the happiest girl ever! I especially like this video cause it's literally every type of video in one 😂. It has a study vlog, kind of like a day in my life, hauls, advice and also a daily makeup look? Hahaha I loved it it's probably one of my favourites now. For new years resolutions I'll admit I'm so cliché 😂. I wanna exercise more, get better marks in school this semester and learn Korean (cause I'd love to work there one day) kinda like you with Chinese 🙊. I totally agree with you Lena! Studying for long hours in vacation by taking your time, understanding every concept and at the end of the day knowing that you achieved something!! Good luck Lena~I am a medical school student in China-Chongqing Medical University. And after that I transfer my school credit in Australia to study Laboratory Medicine and just graduated last year December. I am happy you love Chinese and the new year resolutions^^ all the best wishes~

--> reading all the harry potter stories ( i just finish the first one ✌ )
--> wake up early in the morning
--> doing sport every morning (its little hard but i try it hihi)
--> drinking more water --> studying more
--> not watching much my tablet or phones..
--> and respect my planning and my studying one

nice vlog! when you said that you're kinda lazy I thought no way because I'm far more lazier than you. like I don't even use any cream products for my skin. and you go out, you do things. that's what I like in your vlogs. you're not 24/7 home studying like me. you meet with your bf, you shop, you go to cafes, to the gym, you travel...nice stuff! :)

One of my resolutions is to study Korean because It's a very beautiful language and l've been obsessed with it since I first started watching K-Drama a year ago in fact it's fun to study a language that you like

I can totally relate to what you said about studying Chinese. It's pretty much the same for me with Korean, it never feels like anything I have to do on top of school work or a commitment but rather something like a hobby and fun. Happy Lunar new year (even though its kinda late xD)~
Hermione Potter For grammar I think talktomeinkorean is very good, they provide organized lessons for free from beginner to ibtermediate. And for vocab I would either just search for some on the internet, listen to songs, watch movies or something.I would recommend learning correct pronounciation and reading Hangeul first (you can search for pronounciation examples on youtube) :)

I started studying for my final year's test (here we do a test called IFOM) with cardiology too! I used to think it is the hardest speciality but it really isn't, it just looks intimidating but taking time to review heart physiology makes it so much easier and even fun :) Last year I took a japanese basics course and I want to continue learning japanese by myself now. It's important to balance med school with other goals and hobbies. Thanks for sharing your videos , you are so inspiring ^_^

Kathy CM I'm really jealous of people who can study in medschool and do other fun things at the same time. I really can't. I don't have the time. we always have tests and I'm always studying for them. there is no time to have fun. yes maybe it's a little more difficult for me because I'm studying in another country, in another language (that I studied for only 8 months), but still I think that I should be able to do sth fun right?
It's not easy to find a balance at first but you will be able to do it :)

Ah I wish I could have learned it during high school too. I learned German during high school so I haven't had a chance to learn Chinese. And I really like the tales of beedle the bard too!

Omg, your winter vacations are really long(kinda jealous tbh haha), mines are only the month of July(winter in the Southern Hemisphere) and summer vacations are December, January and February.
Mauricio Aburto I'm so jealous. why everyone has so long vacations? where I am studying we have only summer vacation one and a half month (half of july and august, since classes start 1st of september) and winter vacations are only 2 weeks. one week for the new year (1-7th of january, in which we cannot relax because we have exams right after this "vacation") and one week after winter finals. I'm so jealous.. I'd love to have just a little more time to relax.

Well done! it is amazing that you find the time to learn a new language on top of your busy studies. Have you decided how many hours a week you will try to learn Chinese for? I have been learning Korean for about a year now, through a weekly class.
Maybe I'll study it for 3-4 hours a week during vacation? I'm not sure about the exact hours because I tend to learn it by chapters :) and wow you must be really good in Korean now!

hello i would love you give us tips or places in korea where we can learn how to prepare our selfs to the kmle i want to be a doctor in korea so i would Love if you could do it!
If you're a foreign medical student I suggest checking out my q&a video because I talked about it there. And I don't think there are specific places in Korea to learn KMLE... Normally Korean med students study it at their schools. But if I do get more info I'll definitely talk about it in my videos!
