Miniatuart kit is a paper craft relatively easy to make even for those who have never made miniatures.
You will need a utility knife, tweezers, ruler and glue.
You don't even need paint as the paper is colored.

スタジオジブリ監修のミニチュアペーパークラフト、 みにちゅあーとキット「となりのトトロ サツキとメイの家」を作ってみました。
みにちゅあーとキットはカラーペーパーなので塗装の必要もなく看板や屋根などはイラストシートをカットして貼るようになっています。製作に必要な道具はカッターナイフ、定規、ピンセット、接着剤です。

You can use tin foil for mirrors or cut stuff from a bag of potato chips, the silver inside lineing. Also can use the outside plastic on food packages to use as 'glass' in windows.
I used 2 of the cardboard packaging of Romen Noodles for the walls of a basement. You can cut up boxes and use them for floorings, walls, roof ect. Use blank white paper and make your own walls, designs/painted wall papers, or fabric wall papers.
Take a small plastic bottle and rough up the outside a bit, roll out the air drying clay, put little stones in the clay to make stone impressions, take the stones out & glue the clay to the bottle & let dry. Then spray acupple of coats of varnish on the clay, or very cheap hair spray will do. Then you can make quick 'rocks' with air drying clay by useing it like a rolling pin.
I like the thin copper strips that you can put under your wall paper, down at base boards, middle of ceilings, then get the lights that you can plug into the copper strips.
You have the little power pack hidden on the side of the model or under it or somewhere, then you plug in the cord to the power pack.

If folks want to know where you can get kits like this & other model kits you can try Googleing it.
Also a site called WISH has all kinds of products and also models and they give great service. I found out about WISH by chance. But you have to wait for stuff to be shipped & pay shipping, most times the shipping $ isn't that high, it depends on what you're buying and where it's coming from. But if you ever have a problem they are right there to help.

Simon Ansell If you go on EBay, look for henna applicator bottles. Then you can use what you’ve already bought. Just be sure to stick a pin in the opening of the end, that way it won’t clog.

They probably use a lot of Crazy Glue, but white school glue works great also.
