You don't need to bridge like java in bedrock. You can just tap forward of the Block to place it quickly
I use different controls on my iPad I have the controls where a bottom places it and a button to attack I don’t use the weird controls where you tap the area you want to place a block I just use the crosshair version

some tips and tricks from me: 1. Go to settings, scroll down, tap on video, scroll down, tap on pocket , then change it into classic to make it look like java's inventory.

Tips for speed bridging on bedrock: sprint and place blocks it needs proper timing and make sure your facing on the side of the block and bam you speed bridge

You can change the settings so that the inventory is like the Java one. That’s what everyone does
I do it too in video settings
I do it not for show off but it's useful because inventory and armor tile is at the same place

Change the setting so the inventory GUI will be classic like java and bedrock
You can make the hearts look like java by going in to settings and going to video settings and go to the bottom change it from pocket to classic

You can change the hearts and the hunger with changing the “pocket” setting to “classic”
That will change it to the Java hearts and food location.
