Beim Aufräumen und Ausmisten alter Tonbänder stieß ich vor kurzem auf dieses "Schätzchen". Es handelt sich um ein Original-Demo-Band von Sennheiser für den Vocoder VSM-201 (einfach mal nach "Sennheiser Vocoder" googlen, das Teil ist legendär und kostete damals um die 10.000 DM).
Leider handelt es sich nur um Versatzstücke - ich weiß, dass es auch mal ein Band auf deutsch gab (bzw. eine Kassette war das in dem Falle), auf dem die meisten dieser Songs in voller Länge ausgespielt waren und die Texte auch auf Deutsch (anstatt "People, come to Church" heißt es "Gott ruft euch zur Kirche", und auch das "Und der Haifisch, der hat Zähne" ist auf deutsch enthalten, soviel ich weiß ging es dann weiter mit "...und ich singe jetzt zur Orgel, doch die Stimme hört man nicht.").
Ich weiß genau, dass ich diese Kassette mal besessen habe, aber sie ist seit Jahren verschollen.
Umgekehrt bei dieser Bandspule. Ich wusste nicht, dass es die überhaupt gibt, und jetzt fällt sie mir in die Hände. Naja, das richtige TH-cam-Weihnachtsgeschenk, oder?

When cleaning and tidying out of old tapes recently, I stumbled upon this one. This is an original demo tape of the Sennheiser Vocoder VSM-201 (just google for "Sennheiser Vocoder", the thing is legendary, and back then was around 10,000 DM). Unfortunately, this is only a very short version and contains only short musical samples. I know there also exists a German version (and I know that I had it as a Compact Cassette) with longer musical samples and more explanatory text. But I can't find it for the last five years (I had it before, I know it!). Vice versa, I didn't know about that reel-to-reel tape you're listening to right now. But here it is, as my 2009 TH-cam Christmas gift to you all ;-)
