I faced the same issue with my iPhone. It is actually a sim problem not iphone’s problem. I spoke to network provider(Airtel) they suggested me to replace sim as the old sim had some chip issue (i was not sure , sim looks perfectly fine). I replaced with the new sim and it worked perfectly.
My SIM card is inserted, I've force restarted my phone, reset all network setting and taken the sim out to clean it and the port and nothing is working. I've even updated my phone but nothing works. Please help
5 minutes to state the obvious and not solution at all
I had no mobile data on my iPhone 8 Plus. I reset my network settings and it worked.
My iPhone 7plus says “Searching…” Instead of “No service” tried resetting network settings, took out my sim card and inserted back again, didn’t work. It doesn’t say “No SIM card installed” when i took it out…
Same with me … after that I put that SIM card in other phone now that phone’s condition is the same 🤦♂️

Mine never worked, chafed the sim and it’s not even identifying that the sim was removed

I had iphone 13 pro max and was facing the same issue
My device was running at warranty i went to apple service center and they replaced my phone after 20 days
I just got a new SIM card and the mobile data doesn’t work. Mobile data is on.
I tried with so many SIM cards but doesn’t work ,
That's surprising
When I swapped my simcard for another one (other carrier) my cellular data stayed blank. The "faulty" simcard in my other phone worked just fine, though. So my problem is really bound to the phone. Upgrading to 15.7 or even 16 doesn't work because then I keep getting the "update can't be verified because you're no longer connected to the internet" error message. Not one of all the solutions for the problem has worked (yet) for me. So I guess I will reset (again), erase and reinstall and keep my fingers crossed.

Had the blank cellular data screen and for the life of me couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Tried reinstalling the most recent update by connecting my 11 pro max to my computer, that took over one hour and still didn’t work. I then found your video, after watching it I pulled the SIM card out and dusted it, data started working again immediately. Thanks for the tip!!
