Last DB Cargo Operated 4M30 Intermodal With 66106 At Carstairs, 1/9/23

Filmed in full HD. 66106 is filmed powering past Carstairs with the last DB Crago operated 4M30 intermodal service from Grangemouth to Daventry, 1/9/23. Very fitting that the working was operated by a full EWS liveried class 66.
This working, along with 4S49, are now operated by Freightliner

Sad that DB have lost this contract and sad that an electric point to point Intermodal service should be reduced to Class 66 haulage. Great to see that, this weekend saw the first Freightliner Class 90s deployed on MALCOLM - hopefully G&W will acquire the operational Class 90s from Team Red, beyond 90018 and 90040 which have just been snapped up.
