I would have pushed the 2/2 on Jim's turn then they don't have enough creatures to convoke the Walker even with the land and you can untap and have the 3 damage available
Beseech would lose you the Jegantha companion. You'd probably just play indomitable creativity instead of Beseech since Beseech just finds transmogrify.
I assume you are talking about game 2 of match 1 and it wasn't wrong to target the walker and kill it, but Jim should have done it on the end step of his turn after the coco resolved, because then his opponent wouldn't have the mana for chord of calling to start the Amalia combo. Once Jim let the opponent untap, they then had the mana to start the combo in response to a removal spell. I haven't played this format a ton recently (mostly playing standard), but it looks like for the combo to go off the deck needs a life gaining creature/effect, amalia, and walker, and Jim didn't realize in the moment the innkeeper would start the loop
@@lordgod9958 It gets bodied by control but anyone else it's super resilient with the number of tutors and recursion and redundancy. Like even with the double thoughtsieze jim had game 1 they still managed to combo kill turn 4. It's super format warping and needs to go.
@@rekenner That was turn 4 was it not? Like don't get me wrong his hand was terrible and probably not getting there anyways but winning turn 4 even against disruption was kinda crazy.
I know it's not the best deck in the format but I hate playing against Amalia
Me too. Its the worst
I would also like to see you revisit Gates with Spelunking
It's transMOGrify, as in the goblins.
BYE BYE 🗣🗣‼️

Im glad you left the first game in. It was a good learning experience.
Nice punt on game one first match there Jim

Would a couple copies of Beseech the Mirror be worth putting in there or is it too hard to pay for the bargain and the Transmo sac in the same turn

@@ryanryan8849 Can't play Creativity with Bankbuster in the deck.
Might be hard with the current mana base
Can someone explain to me what Jim should have done instead and why it was bad to kill target the walker?

@@BosSoxFan15 perfectly explained, thank you very much ^.^
I wonder how many more archetypes Fable can duct tape together before WotC acknowledges it might be too good at what it does.
As soon as goblins even sniff a PT that fuckers getting sniped
Buying jegantga was definitely a misplay
Before finishing the game, I'm guessing 15% to win
fuck Amalia Combo, all my homies hate oppressive combo decks
it's kinda crazy to me that it didn't get banned especially going to game 7 at pro tour
That deck is super soft to certain forms of interaction
By that I mean exactly uw control lol. You need counters and removal and gy hate

God you are so damn greedy!
I really enjoyed the thoughseize article on CoolStuff, very interesting topic and I would love to see more of that similar format
I can't stand the amalia deck
lol just ran into some loser playing this in the casual room. i blame you jim
this just seems like a worse creativity deck lol
