  • We don't shop at Trader Joe's super often.. but when we do we stock up on our favorite vegan, oil-free items. We definitely have some must-have favorites that we pick up when we go there, but there are also some little random things that are just special treats to get here and there. While Trader Joe's has a multitude of vegan products, not all of them are healthy. All of the items we chose were at the very least oil-free. We even gave some new ones a shot and threw a bunch together to make lunch at the end! Let us know what your favorites are in the comments below.

    My daughter told me to heat non stick skillet and place the jicama wraps on it then flip when very slightly browned... DELICIOUS!! Made ALL the difference with the jicama wraps for me. I eat 3-4 for a lunch!! Thanks for the video!! LOVED your ideas!!

    • @sitapkseverson861
      @sitapkseverson861 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nadines7175 I bake it at 375 F for about 10 mins with all raw toppings on. That said, we have not used toppings like broccoli or carrots that could take longer. Olives, mushrooms, peppers, onions we have used. I also added a little hot sauce to the pizza sauce and it was really good!

    HI new subbie here. Not sure if you meant diced frozen peppers at Trader Joe's only. But here in my little ol' part of Michigan our Kroger stores has frozen diced green bell peppers ($1/10oz bag) and Meijer stores has fresh diced green bell peppers (pricey but convenient, $3 per small container).

I know that you could stock up on flour, spices, canned goods, beans, rice, pasta, protein shakes , etc....

    I would recommend Trader Joe's organic frozen spinach. Sometimes it just says pesticide free. It's a 1 pound bag for less than $3. It's great to put a chunk in soups or stews, anything you're cooking for some greens. Plus think about how much you pay for those plastic containers of organic baby spinach, and they are not even 1/2 of pound!......Also, like their liquid stevia for a sweetener and their fennel and myrrh toothpaste.

    I am so sad I don't live near a Trader Joes.... I guess I need to chill the yeti cooler and take a trip to madison (2 hours away) and stock what I can fit in the cooler... We have an Aldi but it is hit or miss with what they carry and I dont eat the processed frozen burgers ...I usually buy ingredients to make awesome sos meals instead of processed food. Great video !!!
