Tips for dal to come at the end of circle of bread.
When you make round ball. Press a bit and turn circular in hand upto size of puri. Then belo with belna.
When you do belo with round ball, dal or stuffing doesn't come to end of dal puri.
You will get practice.
💯 MARKS.

Hi hun from your comment I’m sure u didn’t use my recipe the measurements are in the description box below the video it’s 3 cups all-purpose flour to 1 1/2 Tsp baking powder the trick for great results is to make sure your dough has enough time to rest good luck

Too much dye in your dhall. It's too yellow. Natural is better.

That is amazing I love that u enjoy trying different culture / country cuisine I hope your family enjoy their dinner keep up the amazing work
The word Dhal comes from the verb Dhalna which means to descend (suhani raat dhal chuki) (the night is coming to an end) the word dal means beans while masoor dal means (half dal) in this case split peas.
I love my dallpuri thin like your. Good job demonstrating and explaining.
Thank u darling 😘

Nice tutorial, like the patience you have in explaining step by step. I don’t have the courage to make yet but one day I will try your way.
Thanks bro appreciate your feedback means the world to me 😍we should make dhal puri when I visit 🤤lol
Ash, that’s yummy dhalpuri. When did you add salt to the dhal? I noticed in your original recipe, you used 1 tps baking powder and this one was 11/2 tsp. Does that make it softer? Thanks so much, I’m always trying different chef recipes.
Hi darling the salt was added when I put the dhal to boil, the reason for adding a little more baking powder in this recipe is bec the dhal was ground in the food processor and I wanted to make sure it had enough rising agent, I found when I grind the dhal in the food processor it's not a fine as the mill, makes the puri a little heavier so I usually add a little more baking powder to help in the rising process
@@cookingwithash thanks so much for the explanation because I’m never sure of the baking powder amount in dhalpourie. You explained it , it’s true about the dhal being little coarse. Thank you, I’m going to try the old school mill, lol
@@pearlali136 my pleasure love yes go with the mill it's my favorite way of doing it
Dhal puri I will try this. Can I use thunderbolt flour for this
Yes you can hun I used five rose flour
Thanks
Wow girl your dhal puri looks really soft and delicious 😋 I should’ve pass by for 2 roti 😜😜

Hi new to your site. Thank you. You are a sweet kind lady I well be back to learn more God Bless
Welcome I’m so happy to have u here enjoy hun ❤️
Nice
U realize ur roti din swell....grinding ur dhal in a mill is proven to be more effective
U realize I didn't just make one roti right?? Not all of them were captured in the video a roti doesn't have to swell to be perfect 👌 I personally love to use my mill when making dhal puri but unfortunately not everyone has access to it so this is the reason for this recipe giving options to others who would still love to enjoy roti
This is indian origin dish. Cooked in bihar and Uttar pradesh region of india mainly.
My ancestors were from India so most of our recipes are passed down through generations 🥰
Ash your Dal pouring look quite tempting illtry it so.e day thank you
Thanks my friend it's so tasty I'm sure u will enjoy it
Excellent recipe.easy to follow and covers everything Thank you
Thanks love ❤️ your appreciation is most welcome 🙏

Thank you 🙏
If u don't have a food processor nore a mill is there a Nex way to grind it
Maybe try a blender hun
How do you get the roti to swell up? How much baking powder do you use
All the measurement is in the description box below the video my friend
I can’t full it like that . You’re so good in making everything
Not everything sis I have my struggles lol 😂

Thank you so much Ash! This is the best dhal puri recipe and technique on the internet. I tried another one before finding your video and it failed but I succeeded with your instructions and was able to make my favorite pastry. I was born in Guyana but I've lived in the US for over a decade and haven't been able to eat puri in so long until now. Thank you!!🙏🏼🤍
