I'm taking the Xperia 1 V for a forest walk and trying out the camera's capabilities. I hope this video will inspire you to get out yourself, or if you're not able to, get a little taste of nature, which I think everybody needs.
All shots are shot handheld with the Xperia 1 V and edited in Lightroom Classic.

Just want to clarify that all the photos are edited (colors and contrast adjusted) in Lightroom Classic, No sharpening or Noise reduction is added to the photos.

As someone that's never used my phone's camera for serious photography, how good are the tools in-phone for doing colour correction/contrast? I presume there's a reason you used lightroom (unless it was down to familiarity)
Why green color on phhotos, more in cool tones.. Did you want it that way yourself, or smartphone itself set such colors?

Even though Xperia phones are big investments, they take the best pictures.
Turns out Xperia 1 V is a solid compact camera with some communication capabilities. :)
Also, I like this time of the year in forests. Very nice video, chirping birds, peaceful forest, moody moss everywhere; what else would one want?
ticks and lyme is nice too... forests used to be nice until Erich Traub decided to co work with US government and create a monster disease that plaguing Europe and almost all parts of the world we live in.
Not 15 centimeters of snow and freezing temperature like know in my part of Sweden.
I love how peaceful that forest is,here in our country you'll probably end up face to face with a king cobra standing as tall as you😅

This is really impressive for a phone camera (and of course a really great photographer helps as well ;) I love how the photos look like photos from a real mirroless camera, not overprocessed like most smartphone photos.

I recently went out with my MKIV Xperia to Puzzle wood in the UK (Starwars TFA and Merlin the series had scenes filmed there) very happy with the camera on the IV , manual mode of course with your previous tips using the MKIV
People keep telling me to buy a dedicated camera but I really do just love mobile photography!
I lived in Poland for 3 years , the woods are amazing there but the mosquito thing I totally understand too!
This is what you love to see! And this phone without a doubt is one I will see if I can get my hands on it! microSD, 3.5mm headphone jack, that new sensor! And of course just the general feel of shots taken on it!

I make money from collaborations with brands on my social media and youtube. So wildlife photography itself isn’t really paying much. But at the same time my business wouldn’t work without it😃
