Stumbled on this from the TH-cam homepage - nice job! I always love creating Arma 3 scenarios in the editor. Wanted to add a few suggestions I think can really enhance the video: 1. You've got some good camera angles but at times they can focus a little too much on the shooting and not enough on the story. I felt like you were trying to show the French being overrun by the zombies at several points but I'm not really sure because the shot didn't really convey it. An example happens around 8:35: we see the French dead - but the shot would be made clearer by showing zombies run past or feasting on the corpses to emphasize the army's defeat. Views of zombies dying, bullets flying, and looking down the scope are great but make sure you really emphasize when an important change in the story is happening. 2. I feel like there needed to be more tension in the story. There wasn't really a point where I felt the zombies had a real chance of winning, or that they posed a real threat to the army except for a few lucky strikes here and there. Most of the video is just watching the same firing line mow down zombies - which gets repetitive after a while. Arma 3 AI is notoriously bad so I totally get that AI probably wasn't cooperating perfectly. But I think you can really make the story more exciting by having zombies coming in from different angles and creating sudden new threats for the French to react to. Establishing more clearly different defensive layers would also help to boost variety, or focusing on the battle from the viewpoint of selected soldiers might help too. The zombie horde needs to be believably threatening - and in order for that to happen the stakes need to be upped for the army.
One thing I love about this series is that it isn't set in a convincingly post-apocalyptic world but in a convincing MID-apocalyptic one. The piles of trash in the streets, the improvised barricades, the abandoned aid stations, the huge mounds of body bags, all hint at the increasingly ragged edge the survivors are being driven to.
The armoured fighting vehicles and tanks could be out front shooting and running the Zombies down, only letting the infantry clear up what's left. Bad tactics

In these type of videos I don't remember ever seeing flame throwers or napalm used against the zombies. Is it too obvious an advantage for the military or does fire not burn the zombies? I really don't know much about these unfortunate creatures.
Fire doesn't burn the central nervous system fast enough, if you use flamethrowers you will be left with a hoard of flaming zombies charging you before your consumed by fire and flame
I like your work, but I don't understand why you don't have the soldiers fall back or seem to have a fire plan? Your main competition does this to great effect and it makes it "more realistic" if I can say that...no one should be trying to fire point-blank range into a group of Zombies...sorry.

It would be more work, but adding the gun sound effects in post would have yielded a much better result. Also should've played with color a bit, the whole video looks 'washed out'.
Dude, no grenade launchers or cannons firing HE? The soldiers could’ve also thrown grenades or used anti personnel mines since they knew where the zombies would be coming from.
We have the Fa-mas and it is replace by the hk416 F, but we don't have too many hk416 for replace totally the Fa-mas, but in some years, the French Army got for only guns the Hk416, hk417 too for FPSA

Tanks can fire cannons from a distance, killing as many infected as possible in one shot. Please don't imitate 17th century battle movies where they only shoot from 2 meters away. Tanks are also armored, so when they run out of ammunition they can continue to advance by smashing, in the last resort they are a safe place of refuge. The infected can't destroy a tank. Bmp alone can destroy these small hordes, they are also armored. If the soldiers are all inside the tanks, they won't die and the zombies won't even notice them. Personal weapons should be chosen for their silence, preferably snipers and the use of a silencer.
