Meiner Meinung nach ist der Prolog niemals besser aufgesagt worden als durch Benigna Munsi. Man merkt richtig, dass sie Aspirationen hat, Schauspielerin zu werden. An jedem Satz ist gearbeitet worden: perfektes Tempo, super Intonation, gut gesetzte Pausen - der Funken ihres Charismas springt über. Es rührt, zu erleben, wie jeder Mensch, egal welche Hautfarbe oder Herkunft er oder seine Ahnen haben mögen, sich die schöne deutsche Sprache zu eigen machen kann. Ich wünsche Dir, Benigna, alles Gute!
Das war eine Minute schneller als vor zwei Jahren, ohne hastig zu wirken.
Vielen Dank fuer das Video. Ich lebe in Australien und denke manchmal mit Wehmut and meine Nuernberger Kindheit. Die Eroeffnung des Christkindlesmarktes gehoerte zu meinen schoensten Erinnerungen und Gedraenge gehoert dazu.

Helga - I also grew up in Nuernberg (Zabo) met my future husband (who was stationed in Fuerth) and left for the States in 1962. Have been back many, many times. Lots of times in December so we would always go to the opening of the ‘Christkindlesmarket’ never mind the ‘Gedraenge’ but it was so much fun. We lived in California for 20 some years but now we live in Florida. I do think of my hometown quite often but it has changed so much I don’t think I could move back anymore. Stay healthy in this uncertain time and take care!

...a big event in Nurnbergs anual calendar. The market place packed with people in expectancy of the Christkind from the balcony of the Ladys Church. Generations of people come together to watch and listen to the prologue, thinking of own childhood and time ever since. Anyone being afraid of assemblies better stays away.
Living a free life and withstanding those forces of evil who want to destroy traditions like this ought to be the main concern. Nürnberg is very careful on any changes to the Christkindlesmarkt. The verbal attacks of right nationalists towards the elected Christkind this year lead to an even greater solidarity among people. People during this event were also present to show it. Let us preserve it!

So schön, ich habe direkt Tränen in den Augen, ob wir irgendwann wieder so zusammen stehen und gemeinsam singen und sich freuen werden.
Ja, es war wirklich ein unvergesslicher Moment, ob es nächstes Jahr stattfindet? Ich hätte damals nicht daran gedacht, dass es das letzte Mal für lange Zeit sein wird.

Ich war da damals jedes mal dabei! Eine aus dem Chor! Nach 2019 aber nicht mehr😢 ich vermisse das richtig!
Damals hatten wir noch Frau Müller als Chorleiterin! Da hat der Chor noch Spaß gemacht! Dieser Chor hat den Einsatz auch viel besser drauf als der 2022er mit "Phillip" als Chorleiter
Gut zu sehen am Einsatz bei "O du fröhliche" der 2022er Chor hat so ungleich gestartet!

Nächstes Jahr werde ich kandidieren. Erstes männliche Christkind! Und dann werde ich meine absolute Herrschaft über Nürnberg ausüben. Die Burg wird meine Residenz und auf den Schönnenbrunnen kommt oben drauf noch eine goldene Statue von mir.
Meine Herrschaft soll ein Mix aus Ludwig 2. von Bayern und Madame de Pompadour werden.

A very poorly organised program. People are pushing each other in the crowd and a total mess. There was no provision for giant screens for tourists. It was such a chaos. Such events can lead to stampede.
Large screens? We are not at a music festival...
The Nuremberg Christmas Market is centuries old.
As a visitor you should know that "hell" is going on at the opening and at the weekend. Just because so many people want to see this market. If you want enough space for yourself and your loved ones visit it Monday to Thursday.
@@chriss505 I don't need lessons from you about what was going on. Yes people were pushing each other. That's true. Old German people are getting pushed. That was happening for sure. Do you mean Large screens are put only in music festivals??? Large screens are put on for everyone's convenience. By comparing it with a Music festival , you are yourself undermining it's importance.
Arnab Banerjee Having big screens would instantly kill the Christmas spirit that this event represents. The reason why German Christmas markets are so magical is because they are traditional and relatively unmoved by the fast paced modern world. It‘s unfortunate that’s what made Nürnberg famous but as a consequence it’s now such a crowded tourist destination that it isn‘t even enjoyable anymore. That doesn‘t mean the city has to accommodate these large crowds though.
@@hoa5262 Festival is meant to spread love and joy. And no one should be denied of that joy. Tradtions and Customs dont disappear with addition of modern Technology, rather they help in imparting the joy. Giant screens can make the process more visible to the last person standing on the street.

If you want big screens watch it at home on TV or on YT.
We also don't need lessons from visitors who just want to spread their fear and claim.
