TH-cam compresses the fuck out of all audio on upload, the album is supposed to sound raw and underproduced but the compression doesn't help and makes it kinda flat
Love this song. I remember there was some controversy on the production for this one when it released. But this is not what was on the album. The album version there's on Spotify is way better
Hey David, I know I’m pretty late on this comment since it’s about a month old video, but I think the video given here might be a bad rendition of the song, since the actual official track is much cleaner and far less muddy. I think you should revisit this track from a different platform or video and try to hear it fresh, as this is NOT a QUALITY representation of the song. It also makes me feel bad that this is your first introduction to Rakim, who’s one of my favourite artists and a huge inspirations for me. I know you don’t spend much time on lyrics but his verse on this song is genuinely incredible and full of amazing nuances. If you need any links I can definitely help you with them, and even if you don’t make a video I think it’s still worth retrying this one in your own time just to get a proper feel and appreciation. Thank you for always entertains and keep on rocking :)
Something’s wrong with the specific video David . Is this the original ? Cause the original is a lyric video which has 23 million views . Please check it out cause even my ears couldn’t listen this video !
In terms of this album, Guilty All the Same is mid to upper-mid in my opinion. I think you’d like the song “Mark the Graves” off this album. Here’s a link: th-cam.com/video/_-hglKxLGqw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AwzI1o1eyzRPAHMs
I think you'd like The Hunting Party. Second to last album, and it was them experimenting with new stuff. LP fans didn't exactly flock to it, but the music is decent if you're not trying to force the band to stay to a certain sound. just don't listen to it on the official page lol. as others have mentioned, they're much lower quality.
I mean it does sound muddy in your reaction, when I hear it it sounds fine even if they did go more raw on this album, but maybe you lowered the quality for copyright reasons? idk
Linkin Park wanted this album to sound more raw as a reaction to fans saying they were losing their edge
you have to react Linkin Park A Line In The Sand 🤘🏻🔥
Should have reacted to track 5 "war" or track 8 "rebellion"
The songs they uploaded on TH-cam sound way worse than the ones actually on the album. Don't know why lol

That sort of thing is done because TH-cam copyright bots are SEVERAL different words I can't use in SEVERAL different languages.

Yeah, for some reason their uppload is compressed and sounds way worse
That would probably equate more to a 6.something in that case since part of the knock against it is going to be on the quality@@DaP84

You must have downloaded a lower quality version, it sounds well mastered on lossless streaming services (or even Spotify)
I downloaded it from their official channel, that's the link that was given to me by the requester to use for this reaction.

No I didn't touch the mix at all, everything is flatlined across the board on my end.
Defo a better song to listen to live. When Mike is actually rapping instead of rakim or whatever. They play a bit harder live on this song as well.
Mike couldn't lace Rakims shoes
@@king.ozzymandias might be the better rapper overall, but mike fits linkin park like rakim never will.
hey i got a great baND for ya to check out brothers of metal ther a realy fun band
Linkin Parks official YT has horribly compressed uploads for some inexplicable reason.
demo vibes, b side?
Hi. Im posting this comment for attention.
Hello MGS fan
I personally would rate this a 6.1/10
You have softened... for me it was solid 4 😂
It's too good for a 4/10....
A 6.1/10 for me
@@benjamindavis4974 no problem, it was just to raw for me
@@thisisforme77 that was the point because everyone was telling them they was losing their edge
Good song but for me it's their worst album.
Bad
