After 14 years of gaming (18 yrs old), this is the most amazing final mission out of every game I've played. Still my second favorite game of all time as well. And the main theme is godlike. I still get chills even watching it.
When I played the final bossfight as Optimus I was so filled with burning hate that I slammed the buttons of my controller harder than I ever had before. I wanted Megatron to DIE

Why make a perfectly great series that plenty of people enjoyed BECAUSE it was separate from the Bay version join together? I’m not gonna lie, I really love highmoon’s portrayal of Megatron because his lines can be really funny, yet also be extremely badass. Honestly I wish Megatron’s design from this game was passed on to the movies.
One thing i love about optimus fighting style in the final duel is. His heavy combo finisher is IDENTICAL to grimlocks. Which may mean the hard headed dinobot taught prime a few things
Part of War for/Fall of Cybertron's charm is the fact that Earth had no involvement whatsoever. For the first time, we were actually exploring an environment scaled for the Cybertronians themselves, rather than playing a game depicting them stumbling around environments scaled for human habitation. I think removing Cybertron from the title in a potential third game, and placing it on Earth, might remove some of the game's charm and appeal.
I love WFC, but Fall of Cybertron is my #1 video game of all-time. The multiplayer was amazing, the story was fantastic, the stakes were incredibly high, the music kicks ass, and the voice acting was top notch!!! It also has the greatest final level ever, never have I felt so much adrenaline, and so much chaos in a final level like this. Another game with an amazing climax is Wonderful 101, even if it gets super ridiculous. This game also portrays the characters perfect, the Combaticons, Grimlock, Jazz, Metroplex, Cliffjumper, Optimus Prime, all these characters are written and portrayed perfectly. This is also the first time in any transformers media where I got genuinely angry at Megatron, and StarScream as characters. High Moon wrote them to be so evil, and tyrannical and yet have funny lines to boot. So much love and care was put into this game, its characters, and its lore. Here’s hoping Transformers Reactivate can reignite that same love and care as this game. Because currently, this game is hard to top.

I just finished this game today, and I have to say, both Cybertron games are AMAZING experiences. The gameplay, the set pieces, the spectacle, the story and the music were all completely breath taking. Fall of Cybertron in particular is a masterpiece in my eyes. The final mission was one of the most epic things I have ever experienced in gaming with the constant switching between sides, the battling ships, the unstable portal, and immense tension due to the stakes at that point in the story. I only wish War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron receive remasters at some point in the future, and perhaps even a PROPER follow-up instalment.
Absolutely. The Cybertron games are my favorite in all of TF media (tied to G1), followed by TF Prime. None of the movies, other games or current shows come close to how perfectly these games captured the characters. I also hope these games will one day be ported to current-gen as a collection or bundle of some kind. They’re too good to be left behind due to licensing issues and whatnot.

Yes, I realize it's different crews, ships, and timelines but in Beast Wars, the Maximals and Predacons came out of a portal during a battle and the Autobots and Decepticons go into one during a battle and I do also realize that in G1, the same thing happened with the Autobots and Decepticons, but there was no portal.

This is how a final mission to a epic game is done! The only way this could have been better is if the transition between autobot and decepticon was done in the old 1980's fashion. But all in all, this was a fucking masterpiece!

Same episode shows Shockwave who had his cannon on his left arm. Grimlock ripped off his left arm in the game. Trypticon briefly comes back online in the episode "Flying Mind". There are books that fill in more of the gaps between the two. Confirmation also that Bruticus is dead and that Grimlock is still alive.
Whats interesting is that unicron was in the original transformers movie the 1986 and he made megatron into galvatron, a lot of speculations were made that the next movie will be called the rise of galvatron.
A lot of people are saying that Earth is already inhabited by humans but Shockwave said that he got his inspiration for the Dinobots from a big planet, meaning Earth was still inhabited by dinosaurs, not humans

true, very true but on a completely different note I should point out that it also has some elements from the movie franchise because, idea of bumblebee losing his voice came from the movies ( mentioned a lot in the first movie, shown in the movie prequel comic that took place on cybertron.) which the prime series decided to continue on. p.s you probably already know this, just reminding you.
It primarily follows G1 but has elements and details from Prime. What's obviously G1 is the character-designs and story, and Prime is the Dark energon, the Nemesis-design and Bumblebee losing his voice.

true, very true but on a completely different note I should point out that it also has some elements from the movie franchise because, idea of bumblebee losing his voice came from the movies ( mentioned a lot in the first movie, shown in the movie prequel comic that took place on cybertron.) which the prime series decided to continue on.
p.s you probably already know this, just reminding you.
It primarily follows G1 but has elements and details from Prime. What's obviously G1 is the character-designs and story, and Prime is the Dark energon, the Nemesis-design and Bumblebee losing his voice.
