Members from left to right with their main responsibilities in the group:
Moonbyul - Moon Byulie. Aka Moonstar (byul = star). Rapper, performance (dance), singer.
Solar - Kim Yongsun. Singer, leader, eldest member.
Wheein - Jung Wheein. Singer, performance.
Hwasa - Ahn Hyejin. Singer, rapper, maknae.
Those are their primary roles but MMM doesn't really have official positions other than Solar as the leader and Moonbyul as the main rapper. Moomoos (MMM fans) think of MMM as a 4X4 team of multi-talented all stars and best friends who can do it all and have their fingers in all the creative pies. You'll see all of them rap at times, they've all played instruments live and in casual or cover videos, they write lyrics and compose music for some of their songs (esp solo work), do vocal arrangements, did most of their own choreo up til 2019 when they started hiring well-known choreographers, and are involved in their styling and the concepts for MVs.
You noticed the diversity of their material but this medley is just the tip of the iceberg. They've got one of the most diverse discographies I've ever encountered, ranging from jazz, r&b, hop hop and latin pop to bossa nova, reggae, ballads, EDM and pop dance tracks and just about every other genre of popular music you can think of and they keep adding more to the list. For example, the Solar & Moonbyul subunit Mamamoo+ just released a 3 song single album that blends kpop with pansori (Korean song story) and traditional instruments in one song and Grease style musical theatre with hip hop in another.
Mamamoo is better live than on record and Mamamoo live with an audience full of moomoos is next level. The next MMM live sampler you should check out is the Immortal Songs Medley, which was filmed at a MMM concert in 2017 and is safe for reactions on yt. In case you're not familiar with Immortal Songs 2, it's a singing competition tv show where soloists and groups compete by doing new arrangements of classic (immortal) songs, often as a tribute to an older artist whose career is being honored. MMM competed on IS2 14 times between 2015-19 and the Immortal Songs Medley includes some of the covers they had done up til 2017. All 14 IS2 performances are stunning vocal showcases and I highly recommend checking them out on patreon - unfortunately the tv network blocks yt reactions unless you filter the video. MMM's radical rearrangement of the Korean version of the old Tom Jones hit Delilah on Immortal Songs had me catching flies when I first stumbled across MMM 7 years ago and then the ballad Backwoods left me in tears and confusion. I'm a jaded old fart in my 60's who used to work in the music biz and have been bored with every form of pop music for decades. I couldn't believe that a kpop girl group could blow my mind one minute and make me cry the next but that's the power of Mamamoo.

@@yallhearingthis My bad. I forgot you watched it with Hip. I imagine you'll listen to more of their music before the tour. I'm going to the shows in Long Island and Baltimore. Not missing a chance to see them twice since this is their first US tour and there's no guarantee they'll be back.
Btw, ditto to Honey Bee's comments about lip syncing. Imo if you're not going to sing then don't fake it. MMM notoriously sucks at lip syncing the few times they've been forced to do it. They use hand mics 90+% of the time and adjust the choreo so they can sing well while dancing. I like Hwasa's approach on a couple of her solo songs with intense choreo - she'll use a backing vocal track and on lines she doesn't sing live she simply doesn't raise the mic. I've wondered whether MMM's last album title Mic On was a comment about how prevalent lip syncing has become because with most groups dancing is prioritized over singing in live performances. With MMM it's the other way around.
Mamamoo has so much great content 🥰 If you want to see more of their vocals, I’d recommend immortal songs performances like Delilah, Passion flower, etc. They also have some great crackhead songs btw: Sleep in the car and taller than you are absolutely iconic. I personally also really love their latest comeback with the title track Illella

Killing voice performances don't have backing track vocals, what you heard were the 16374 layers of harmonies that they have in their songs, that's why some of them were live and others were from the track. If you want a more raw performance you can react to their immortal songs medley performance, they were performing in their concert

Hi guys, new here. Maybe you already know this, I didn't watch every Mamamoo reaction yet, but they said it a couple of years ago, that they don't do lip sync because they literally crap at it. 🤣Only did it once. Even the Kpop industry loves to joke about it and say: "Mamamoo can do everything, except lip-syncing." Also, there's a RAW version of this Dingo Killing Voice where you can hear their actually voice without any editing. There's not much difference, to say the least.
They are absolutely amazing- I was incredibly lucky enough to see them live last year (the concert is up on the channel if you’re interested)!!
Enjoyed your reaction. I am not taking anything away from Rose or BlackPink. But I had to laugh when you compared Hwasa to Rose. Sorry my friend but Rose can't hold a candle to any of these ladies. They are in a different league vocally. No contest!!!!!
