Andrew, what a great addition to your equipment lineup! So user friendly and like everything with you, it’s built like a tank! Very well thought out design by Iron Bull! Great video too!
I would check out ION from Texas. I custom ordered one from a local dealer designed to meet my personal , specifications brakes for all axles, safety concerns, ramps, weather proof floor bed, 8 foot width, spare tires, etc. I love it!
Nice new toy Andrew! You definitely picked the right model. This one will make your life easy and you'll get so much use out of it. Better to spend a little more today and be happy. As the kids say these days, yolo. Good luck with the clean up from Debby.
I had one for years loved it. Only problem I had was wet deck boards and muddy tracks cant drive up. Maybe some expanded metal or aggressive tread plat. Enjoy Be Safe!
Thank God! Do rejoice to see you expand your equipment assortment:))) I think it's because you selflessly help others that God presents you with great opportunities. May you use it for many years to come:)))) And of course, there's Ruger to guard it!!!
whoo-wee! thats a beaut! I went looking for the Live, forgetting it was Sat. LOL stupid storm messing up my calendar 😂 Love this trailer its really impressive
Nice trailer Andrew, great addition to the homestead. That hydraulic tilt bed is the bomb. I’ve used one without that feature, Definitely a game changer.👍🏼
WOW Andrew That is a nice trailer you got me. With all the Equipment you have you definitely need that trailer man. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video & take it easy buddy. P.S. I was just in your area man Is dropping off a load for the hurricane 🌀 Victim . I will be doing this for a while.
I have a Bri-Mar hydraulic tilt deck trailer with removable fenders. Little more complicated than yours because you have to work the up down controls for the hydraulic cylinder to tilt the deck but it’s a great trailer!
I wish someone would demonstrate loading two separate units like two side by sides each 10' long on a tilt trailer. Or perhaps a large side by side along with a small one.
I would suggest to look into ways to secure the trailer during loading as the trailer and vehicle rock forward and back putting large loads on the park paw of the transmission. (14:40) Hopefully you have the parking brake engaged. I personally would probably look at tire clamps to go between the two axles of the trailer…
There is no movement FORWARD with this design when loading. The only time I've ever experienced this is when digging in a dump trailer with a tractor while attached to a truck. I've shown in videos to put the truck in neutral and apply the parking break to avoid any damage.
Could you consider a tie down video? Just a how to strap down any and all equipment with chain binders for the big stuff and ratchet straps for atvs and smaller items?
Thanks Andrew, With the deck tilted, I can relock the latch assy on mine and the Deck will latch when it comes back down. My Cylinder is pre set and never had to adjust it. My Box is big enough for a hydraulic Pump & Battery should I need to connect the Cylinder to it. My Ramp set has pins at the plate where it sits on the Trailer. all I had to do is drill some holes in the tail board for them to drop into so the Ramps have no chance to slide off. Should I need another spacing for some other equipment I just use a ratchet Strap underneath to hold the Ramps in place. Mike M.
nice addition to the fleet. You could pull dump trailer to job site then tilt bed. Clear and load at the same time. Tiffany might like a new truck. just saying.
I get that, but I'm exact opposite. I love the front deck for staging extra attachments that don't need to be on the tilt deck. This has been beneficial for me with excavator and tractor attachments.
Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔 now I'm starting to rethink of the trailer I ordered...... I went with a 18' one ... That's it I'm going to see if I can order a longer one 😢😢
Hi Andrew.. What is the overall length of your TWB 14 trailer? Also the length of floor space for the tractor and equipment? Great video and looks like a great trailer to buy. Enjoy you videos and keep posting.
I'll need to measure overall, check the video description for the main trailers website. Deck length is 22ft, the longest trailer I've used and I don't regret getting it. The length is perfect for my big tractor and equipment.
I hate to say because prices change and people look at older videos and hang on to that. Let's say high $8s right now 8/2024. I called for a local built cheap trailer I was talking about and it was $6k plus all taxes and fees. No reason not to upgrade to an Iron Bull fold flat ramp trailer or a little more for a tilt. So much better built!
very nice trailer, i always hate the teeter totter when loading heavy equipment on regular ramps, nerve wracking no matter how many times i've done it.
You can only haul one side by side on that. My buddy has one, and he wishes he didn't buy it. You said you have all that extra room. Well, how are you going to load up anything else with no ramps because the first thing you loaded goes past the tilt part. Also, the square tubing rusts from the inside out. I would rather have me my trailer built out of ibeam and c channel. Nice trailer. I hope it works out for you.
You got to think a little. Lock the hydraulic cylinder in the closed position as you pull the first side by side on OR have the second one drive on behind the first with a second person. Third option is drive the first one on and close the trailer. Then use CHEAP ramps to drive the second on. If all you do is double load, get a different trailer. If you occasionally double load get a cheap set of ramps. I got mine for single equipment loading like 99 percent of other people. It's the best option by far for that.
Ride both on one after the other with two people. Or..... Ride one on before the tipping point AFTER locking the hydraulic cylinder to the close position. Lock the parking brake and the ride the other on. Last option is ride one on and tilt close. Then use cheap ramps to drive a second on. Multiple ways to do it.
It's gas sadly, this old truck hates towing a heavy load lol. That is a new Baumalight mini stump grinder for compact tractors. I'll have a video out soon.
Seems like as heavy as they built it adds up to a lot of weight. What is the carry capacity on it? With 7 k axles it probably won’t even carry my ctl 75-3.
You have the option of adding 8k axles on this as well. I'd rather have over built and less "capacity" trailer than under built and always wondering if it's going to fail. I felt that way with the cheap lightweight local trailers I looked at.
Hmmm - I made a comment on your trailer yesterday and it disappeared again. This is becoming very annoying as this has happened many times and only on your channel. Any ideas why? (and I really like the trailer)
I honestly don't know. The only reason they get automatically deleted is due to outside links or anything vulgar. I've never seen you post anything like that.
@@TKCL Nope, that isn't my issue, but they don't even post in my list of comments under my account - I'm baffled. Guess I'll have to start double posting LOL...that'll help the algorithm🤣🤣🤣
Another benefit is it doesn't lift the back of the truck when loading and unloading
That's a very good point and a huge safety concern at times.

Perfect timing Andrew 👌
Just what you needed for mobility of equipment after a storm.

Good point about the fold up ramps not being in the way

I wish someone would demonstrate loading two separate units like two side by sides each 10' long on a tilt trailer.

You'll need ramps, but it's quite simple. Pull one on and lock up the trailer. Use ramps to load the second one on.
@@TKCL thanks, that's what I thought.
@@TKCL a deal breaker for my use. If I've gota get the ramps for one vehicle I might as well just load two saving the cost of the dump.

Love your channel, bro. Might want an ironbull shirt instead of a norstar, though lol
Norstar makes Iron Bull by the way. That's the parent company.
Do they make that trailer with 9k axles
@@NITELIFEKENNEL no, but they do offer 8k axles as an upgrade.
You could always pull a bolt or 2 and fold over the rotary cutter rear wheel for extra room to keep from hanging off the rear
Many options

I don't plan to double load, but I have been curious about ramps in case I ever need to do that.

Sweet new trailer Andrew very impressive. Now I want to trade or sell my ramp one for a tilt deck trailer 😊
Tilt is the way to go in my opinion. A little more but absolutely worth it.
I think I’d prefer a full tilt deck vs a partial tilt deck. Only in case I needed to winch up a broken down vehicle or tractor.

4365lbs for a load capacity of 9635. You can add 8k axles to this for 2k more load capacity.
Andrew how is the watermelon / pumpkin patch doing
I let it go since we went on the carnivore diet. However it produced a lot of watermelons. I may or may have ate a few 😉

Alright, that's it. Gonna have to stop watching. You're just making want to buy stuff i have no use for! 😂😂 Awesome trailer!
Lol I know the feeling when I watch other channels 🤣
The only downfall I could see is it being a 3/4 tilt and not a full tilt. Would be hard to mount a winch and winch non running cars/equipment on to it
That's true, but there are also benefits to partial tilt as well.
