In other words, the character’s multi-dimensional self-awareness causes the writer to change something, which in-universe would be seen as the character paracausally warping reality due to an indirect action of narrative self-awareness. A (seemingly paracausal) change in the universe which was caused, in actuality, by the character interacting with a higher-level of existence which the character itself may or may not be directly aware of.

Dust inhalation in the Foundation is probably still a serious problem. Just from changing the filter on an HVAC.
Every time i hear the word "Temporal" I immediately think to myself this is not gonna end well. They always mess with time and it always fails. Part of me feels like they would learn from the past if they would stop screwing it up so much 😂

Let's not forget that all of this started because they thought "Lets take our problems (esoteric waste) and push them somewhere else!" was a good idea. Dougal did this to himself from the very beginning.
Retrocausaly - engineered mean that past events are effected by future events and that its intentional. Intertemporal either means between 2 times or how current decisions affect what options become available in the future. Syncronization means operate at the same time or rate. Noetic means mental activity. And ordinality means the capacity to place numbers in sequence.
I remember reading part of this canon some years ago, but I followed a series of links that told the story from Phil's point of view so I somehow skipped the REISNO cannon somehow. This whole tale is very convoluted but quite entertaining, the author is particularly creative in the ways in which the characters meet their end, I remember one being turned into a pile of odd looking lemons just because they took a few steps in the wrong direction during one of the re-enactments of the event and how the Foundation just had to keep containing the piles of lemons every year after that. Also this canon is generally bonkers even by SCP standards.

the time leap device is far more practical than the reisno cannon tbh, considering you don't really need to repeat the instructions to your past self to ensure a paradox doesnt occur, its only really limited by how much time you can leap...... a week max kinda ass but oh well.

I guess that I can understand what went on, but I just can't understand why half of that stuff happened? I get that it's SCP but it just takes it so far into randomness. There's involvement from cognitohazards, memetic stuff, a full 001 proposal somehow, on top of things randomly turning into other stuff or coming to life and it just reads like it's trying to be everything at once while using Placeholder as a reason for it. The SCP isn't bad honestly, but it's needlessly complex for my taste

Neat, the SCP foundation got a hold of Hououin Kyouma's time leap machine. Didn't expect a Steins;Gate crossover, but here we are lol
This just makes me wonder if we have a “head cannon” article yet.
The canon works by reversing a localized 3D region of natural entropy, adjusting coordinates in real time to account for celestial motion through normal time which includes the rotation of the earth itself.
It's tricky, but general relativity allows it (theoretically).

I guess that I can understand what went on, but I just can't understand why half of that stuff happened? I get that it's SCP but it just takes it so far into randomness. There's involvement from cognitohazards, memetic stuff, a full 001 proposal somehow, on top of things randomly turning into other stuff or coming to life and it just reads like it's trying to be everything at once while using Placeholder as a reason for it. The SCP isn't bad honestly, but it's needlessly complex for my taste

I love when you hear Dr. PLACEHOLDER you know to not go full involvement with the characters, but to pull back out and look at the story for what it is - a story - and view/listen to it as an observer, rather than a participant, if that makes sense? 😊🤔😬👈💥👀🧠🐧
