Tools needed
8mm socket
Plyers
Material
Antifreeze
5.1 liters 5.4 quarts goes in my car
Don’t use tap water 💧- use coolant anti freeze for winter / deionised water

MB 325.0/325.1 blue is a HOAT coolant. (Hybrid Organic Additive). No coolant should be used that doesn't specify "MB Approval 325.1". I'm not sure if it's the case local to you, but the MB blue from the dealership is priced the same as anything else give or take a few bucks.

I own a Mercedes c200 kompressor CL 203 sport coupe with 1.8 L engine and 163 HP.I want to change the coolant and I am thinking to buy Castrol Radicool NF which has a MB Approval 325.0.I am going to make a mix of 50% distilled water and 50% of coolant but before doing this i am going to clean all the circuit only with distilled water.
as long as you use the right coolant everything sould be good

Check Crank position sensor or look around for any loose or unplugged wires around area of cooling system

W203 has 2 different liquids. green and blue. You have to check which one you need.

I tried to remove the radiator drain plug but it broke. I drilled it and removed it. When I replaced it with a new drain plug, water was leaking from the litlle black hose next to the red drain plug, I assume I damaged the threads. What can I do to fix the problem?
You damaged the thread thats not good at all because you need threads to withstand the pressure , see if you can remove the part where the threads are. and swap it from an other from

You would need aprox 7.5liters or 7.9 quarts
The best option would be Mercedes own coolant or Febi has very good products

fill it up to just below the cap when its cool ,start the car and refill again until its full...but dont do it when its hot

Hey, I got a question the garage who drained my old MB coolant (original since factory lasted 20 years old 😅) just drained the radiator but by removing the radiator tube itself not the drain plug to do it faster. Should I be worried of tube leaking now? How can I check that I saw some water undernneath my car but it was from coolant stuck in the bumper when he drained it 😅 but now I'm not sure... there is no drops though just humid area near radiator

@iamher6422 Yes, thanks for your feedback. I can confirm all is good. I had to add a bit of coolant after 1 month running the car cause it was lower slightly but all is OK no more drippings anymore

I think the best option is to go with mercedes own antifreeze or you should check with your local carpart store and be sure to use premum antifreeze for your engine :)

I think by squeezing the coolant hose connected to the radiator

No I just used regular coolant that works with mb and the blue one works perfect I’m still driving it everything is good

Yes you Can use Tap water , I live in sweden and I used tapwater (as long as the water is clean no sand or small stones

Don’t use tap water. It can damage the cooling system.
We add chemicals and minerals to the tap water that we (are told) need but the car doesn’t like these.
pretty sure distilled is what's recommended
tap water has calcium as well as other minerals in it .This will cause build up in the tiny cracks and crannys inside the radiator and over time that buildup will restrict flow and cause the engine to run hotter
Seems complicated with mercedes. Never had any issues with my banger and it lasted forever. Noone clarifies

you should not use just water because the water pump need lubrication
Plus it will freeze in the winter and destroy your motor
