Did this a couple of days ago. I found it a little challenging for my meagre talents. I can cope with tight space on the handle bars. I can cope with rollable drops. I can handle steepness. I can handle narrow trails with worn grooves. I can handle tight turns. Unfortunately I struggle when they all come at you at once as they do on the tight and twisty section so I was very slow and nervous. 🙂
Good one, Rich. Did the trail about 6 weeks ago. Some great additions to the Freeminers. A few dull bits, too but I'll excuse those. Perhaps there's scope there for future trails?
Thanks Martin, I agree but i think the 'boring' bit has been forced on the trail builders as they are not allowed to use certain single track bits that would be perfect .. BUT they have some secret plans for new trails so stay tuned! Appreciate the comment mate!
Great vid Richard 👍🏻😀we did cash box with you a few months back and it was tight with 820mm bars 😱 love the look of tight & twisty must come back over and ride again with you soon 👍🏻😀🚵🏻♂️
New sub from me really good video looking forward to checking your back catalogue now lol also thinking of starting from the dh tracks as the climb looks really horrible 😅
You’re a rarity, I’m looking to get back into cycling after a long break (50 next year) and fancy a fat tyre bike, probably hard tail. Problem is, I can’t find much here in the UK, especially not at a friendly budget. Any advice?
Hey, thanks so much for the comment - much appreciated 🙌😊 for an 'entry level' fat bike I'd be searching facebook marketplace and be on the lookout for something like the VooDoo wazoo fat bike .. this was my first fat bike and i loved it! .. add some forks and it's great, great fun! It's a discountinued line from Halfords but you can still pick them up second hand .. there are also some great fat bike sale facebook groups like the UK fat bike selling page that is a great resource !! facebook.com/groups/718295778279805/?ref=share hope this helps .. let me know how you get on 👍👍👍
It was good to see you at FOD today , always nice to have a chat 😊
