He fully believes in him, knowing he’s innocent. 0:31-0:32 He now feels wholly and completely comfortable around him, knowing him more than anyone after all these years, sharing hugs and confrontation, that he could no longer be standing too close and it would be a problem. 0:55-1:02 Ed knowing that the past will never go away and it still haunts him, possibly forever. 1:03-1:08 Both knowing love is sacrifice and going through torture rather than telling anybody where the other is and getting them hurt. They would rather get hurt themselves. 1:16-1:30 The fact that Oswald is willingly doing these selfless things for Ed, giving up his revenge on Sofia and then saving his life after he got stabbed. Because he now knows love is sacrifice. 1:32-47 Oswald knows his heart is his greatest weakness and he is trusting Ed with it. He knows Ed could kill him at any moment if Oswald turns on him but he won’t because he cares too much, but would still willingly let him stab his heart if it satisfies him. 1:48-2:02 He just wants to be his best friend and keep him in his life where he truly belongs, because you can’t have one without the other. 2:12-2:19 Despite everyone turning on him and thinking he’s a cold blooded killer or a freak, Ed still believes in him and knows he has good in him and knows he’s capable of so much. 2:20-2:25 Oswald will always be there at the end of the day to protect him and make sure he doesn’t die because he knows, despite all the fighting, he doesn’t deserve that. These boys will never stop hurting me but it’s worth the pain 💜💚
