- A source tells ET that Brad Pitt wants equal custody of his six children, whom he shares with his ex, Angelina Jolie. The ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ star and Angie split in 2016 after 12 years together and two years of marriage. A hearing was set to take place on Monday, but has since been delayed.

@Martina Kuhnert Im 50/50 with my daughters dad. She fine. The idea is that both houses have everything for said child and that they're not living out of a suitcase. If the parents are dicks to each other or talk about each other to the kid, or if 1 parent does it... the kid will have anger issues. It doesnt sound like 50/50 is the culprit to that situation. Unless theres proof of physical abuse or neglect, 50/50 is the way the courts like to have it. Unless the parents agree to 5 days/2days or whatever.

But when your parents split and you don’t see your father for however long it can be as damaging to your relationship with them as much as abuse can be. He was a raging, yes raging alcoholic. She is probably truly apprehensive of him having custody without supervision. He has been sober now, for what, 1-2 years? Also, he has many girlfriends and can be a bit sloppy with them and his children. So, Angelina has every right to be in control because guess what? He wasn't for a very, very long time. And he needs to prove he can be trusted.
Just because he is handsome doesn't absolve him of reckless parenting.

Last thing I remember their oldest son chose NOT to have Brad in his life. There is more to this story that we don't know. Angelina has always put her kids first and Brad has even confessed to having a drinking problem, which could've led to the kids not liking their father.

Their kids are reportedly very assertive, worldly, well exposed and no nonsense so he will have his hands quite full.

One is over legal age the oldest two are half way through high school already. If she wants 100% custody then she needs to take 100% responsibility financially for them and stop asking BP for money to take care of them. It’s either you let him get 50/50 custody and pay for his children or get 100% custody and be the money and father to those kids. You can’t have it both ways.

You also can’t deny him 50/50 custody and ask him to pay more to take care of his kids on top of the $1.3 million he gave.
