The rising water levels of the Ganga and Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj have submerged all the ghats along the river banks in Sangam city.
As per officials, the increased water levels of the Chambal river, a tributary of the Yamuna, has resulted in the rivers flowing in spate. The rising water levels have significantly impacted the normal lives of the residents in the low-lying areas, who have urged immediate relief from the local administration.
