I hv seen all the videos from IP tables to NFTables.Your explanation of the setup is so simple that the learning which i was trying to avoid for several months now has interested me as I feel i can learn nftable & iptables quickly.
Hi - Am one of the guy who doesn't comment a lot and I would say, you explanation was just AMAZING. I have a question though, how can we perform a packet filter based on a pattern e.g. In the IPTables, I could do a packet filter to block any line that contains -A INPUT -p udp -m udp --dport 1514 -m string --string "some.exe" --algo bm -j DROP
Thank you very much. Very instructive. Your 2 videos about NFTables are the best I have seen so far.

These two videos are the best ones I have found about nftables! Strong recommendation! Many thanks Vineet.

your presentation skills are really impressive btw!
Returning a reject packet on a ping request is kind of pointless, isn't it? I know, this is not the point, thanks for the video.
Well, it's let the pinger know your machine is online but won't let you access it. It might be useful in certain cases.
@@BillAnt a normal Ping reply does not let anyone Access either
@@frankhabermann9083 - Well this gives you a choice for testing purposes.
Cltr-Z instead of Ctrl-C. Argghhhhh.
