    35 years driving on Ca roads and fwys ... never seen so many accidents as the past few years and getting worse... people drive careless and reckless... too fast and too distracted... " cellphones" are the #1 problem.

    I always think about what my buddy who was a firefighter told me. As he was on a scene such as this, he couldn’t help but think of the victims relatives who were probably in bed, yet unaware of the bad news that would soon impact their lives.

    How senseless - someone stupid went fast and killed another person - the worst kind of accident where a victim dies. I don't care about the silly person who started the accident and killed himself. What a waste of life. 10 seconds of caution would have saved both. Imprudent and foolish killer!

      That’s fascinating. Are those the people who look completely fine, but are dead?

    • @clazza65
      @clazza65 ปีที่แล้ว

      @oceancat0450 The elderly can look fine as it doesn't cause much for the brain to move around. It shrinks a little as we age. One teen looked fine, except for the fact that he had two huge black eyes. This was caused when the car he was a passenger in slammed into a tree at a very high speed. The P.M. showed that it was caused by the brain moving forward rapidly. The human body is an amazing thing.

      That's gonna happen when you hire drama queens. At the grocery store a woman had locked her keys and baby in the car. They'd called the fire department, but the security guard noticed a locksmith nearby getting groceries. The guard asked if he could help, and he said Yes. By the time the locksmith had walked to his vehicle and brought a few tools the firemen were surrounding the woman's car. As the locksmith slid the tool into the car, one fireman watching him said "We don't have time!" and smashed her window (as the lock clicked to unlock). The locksmith looked at the fireman and said "Why'd you do that?... it was unlocked." The fireman said "You were taking too long, and there's a baby in the car." The woman tearfully thanked the firemen for breaking her window, and ignored the locksmith for unlocking the door without damage. So that's why you see firemen using Jaws of Life and metal saws on crushed sides of cars, but don't take advantage of undamaged access points.
      Edit: This occurred on a cool, overcast day.
