Hey Mighty! I would suggest using the right stick to swing and it makes it way easier for power and contact hits! Just pull back then push forward for power swings and it's way easier to time

I was playing at ego 50 and was averaging 17 run and 24 hits through 11 games. Just being being a little bit patient. Of course it makes for longer video. Cheers!
If you want to get good timing on power swings, I suggest holding the button down around the time the pitcher releases. Most the time you have your power at a good level where you get some extra pop.
Just realized you can track where you should stand to catch fly balls based on the arrow under your player. It tells you where to go apparently. Well that should make me play better

Yo Mighty! If your still wondering how to hit, you can put your pci to the bottom of the zone then let it rise and that should help.
When you are power swinging you have to time the power to be as close to 99 when you let go to swing. Power only does so much in a contact swing
