Now; after her sister literally tried to sell her to a man, she married a man who knows exactly who she is but lies about his own identity-knowing how much she has suffered for 6 years. He has all the powers and all the wealth. She has mother but being looked down upon by everyone around her. She covers up the fact that she was raped because it is considered shameful (because apparently this society doesn’t care about consent and judges women instead of their rapists!). There are no where near the same page. A powerful man lying about his identity to get with the woman he raped and impregnated 6 years ago is not the same as a powerless woman just trying to survive.
I find it funny the rich are not supposed to look down on the poor. It is bad manners, prejudiced, and all that, but somehow, it's okay for the poor to look down on someone with money? That is a really prejudiced, uneducated view, and that is the main troupe of this drama... flash marriage then ML pretends to be poor...it has been done to death...oh also add in used as a antidote to aphrodisiac also, but neither can recognize the other...plus a weak, masochistic, FL character...but ML is attractive but kiss intimate scenes are very bad touch lips with hidden head angles no true passion or movement of lips in the kiss lol...fast-forward or skip this one it is not nice to the female...forgot stolen child....🚫🚫🚫
It’s not a flash marriage- it’s called RAPE and they need to stop using it as a “cute way they met” story. It’s disgusting she was raped against her will, impregnated, and then abandoned to give birth and then be looked down upon by everyone in society. There’s also the ridiculous trope that having sex with a stranger once somehow means you are “in love” with them. 🙄. And because none of the evil doers got any real punishment-story seems to reinforce that it’s fine for rich people to not only look down upon but also to abuse people poorer than they are.
That's a real thing in China, they're called Aunties and if you get in their way they will beat you, call the cops, play the victim, sue you. What ever you do, don't stand near them if anything is free, on a buffet, on sale, and above all don't interrupt them if they're doing the Auntie dance with loud music late at night. They will mob you if they don't get their way. They even go around in large mobs and steal anything that's not tied down.😅
