Okay crunch time. So, there have been many comments that are headed in the right direction but the issue they’ve run into is they don’t have the actual size of the tank. That being said, the Heavy Rescue truck is a dodge ram that measures just over 81 inches in width. The flatbed on the back is a Bradford Built bed that measures just wider than the truck on both sides at 84 inches wide. If you look at the video when Dave is filling up, you see that the tank sits about 5 inches in from the side of the truck with about a 1 inch for the rail of the flatbed. For this we will assume that it is the same on both sides. This leads us to believe that the width of the transfer tank is 72 inches wide. From the video the tank appears to be about 20 inches long.
With this stated, Dave has a 67-gallon transfer tank from Fuelbox. Fuelbox was referenced by Dave in Jackknife Motor’s videos. This is confirmed by looking at the measurements as well as the screw and tank inlet positions referenced when looking at the pictures on Fuelbox’s website. (Yes, the screw placement does differ per transfer tank.)
If the tank was exactly at 70% then we can assume that it is sitting at 46.9 gallons and needs 20.1 additional gallons to be filled to capacity. To get the overall price we need to find out what the price per gallon was when Dave filled up. To do this, we start and stop the video multiple times while he is filling up to get the money being spent with the gallons acquired. If we do this enough times, we are able to get an average of the price per gallon which should be close enough to the actual price. The price that Dave was filling up at was $3.459 with taxes already factored into the cost.
We then multiply the $3.459 by the 20.1 gallons needed to fill up the transfer tank and get a total of $69.53 needed to fill the take to capacity.

I know, right. I used to do it in a way that you tied it through the handle, but if you had a really stiff strap it wouldn't work, or I would fold up the tail, put the hook in a pocket from the bottom, and stuff the folded up part in the area between the pocket and rachet part. This way seems much easier.
I use the daisy chain method. This one looks good too

Have you ever tried Wrangler cable through a spring the spring if it's the right diameter will allow the cable to slide through it perfectly you can wrap it around trees or pass trees instead of using block and tackle Oregon running a few inches from your winch and it will spool it better than rollers I've been doing it for a few years now I don't even have rollers in front of my winch anymore you'll be surprised

Well math time.... 40 gallon tank if i remember that build from jack knife motors , so 40 gallons 70% from it 105 liters approx, 46 liters/11,8 gallon -ish to fullfill? Lilbit google for diesel prices since i live in EU and have absolutely no clue about US ones and i offer : 41,5 dollars even math shows it a bit more since i assume video were filmed week ago, so i chose pricing from that and slightly decided to cut it smaller perhaps we fit in :P

when you stop the video on the gastank shot and you start to calculate you can see the price is around $3.45 a gallon and with 40 gallons minus 70% you get 12 gallons. you get a price of $41.48 and with 11,8 gallons you get $40.79 so my final anwer is $40.80. and i am also from the EU(the netherlands)

@@wesleymadsen4357 that's what's making it so hard to guess for me lol. I k ow he has to have a custom tank that's oversized for sure. But at the same time I've been around a 100 gallon tank before and his didn't look that much bigger in the video unless the leg of it goes all the way to the tailgate. Also when he puts the nozzle in to fill it there's straps and tools filling the box that looks like what would be the tank.

Nationwide towing service left my kids and I stranded in the middle of the woods. We called around 3pm didn't see anyone until around 10pm. It was absolutely pitch black. We were making a very sharp right turn up a hill and Thats when the shifting grommet snapped off.
