  • Hi, in today's tutorial let's make together these silver beaded stud earrings which I've called "Maria". They are very elegant and they look like silver earrings due to the colour of the beads. Also they are perfect for every outfit and can be used as a base for other earrings.
    ❤️ I am happy to let you know that I've added a tutorial for a matching pendant and ring: • The Maria Set | How To... ❣️
    Also these gorgeous earrings can be used as:
    ❤️ the base for another pair of earrings [ • How to make the Alexan... ]
    ❤️ to make 3D flower stud earrings [ • 🌺 How to make 3D flowe... ] 🌼
    ❤️ to make 3D Sunflower stud earrings [ • The Sunflower Set 🌻 Ho... ] 🌻
    ❤️ I've also made these earrings in their mini version, the video can be found here: • My Mini Stud Earrings ... ❤️
    The materials needed are:
    ● Toho seed beads size 11 - I am using nickel colour
    ● Stud earrings pins 8mm, but you could also use 6mm ones
    ● Needle, I am using size 11
    ● Thread - I am using thread 0.10mm, but you can use up to 0.15mm - for this project you will need approximately 50 cms of thread
    ● Cutting pliers/ scissors
    I hope you like the tutorial, let me know in the comments below. Also keep an eye on my next tutorials, I have exciting projects coming up ❣️

    Took me multiple times of starting and taking a part but I finally made a pair and I love them. The tutorial was great, it just took me time to understand it. I rewrote it out for myself which made it go faster for me.

    Hi there! Your tutorial is great, very well explained. I have one question if I’m using smaller beads, number 10 to be more specific, do I add one more row in the middle ?

    • @JewellerywithAlexandra
      @JewellerywithAlexandra  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thank you for the kind words. I would not suggest using size 10 beads as the earrings might turn up quite big. My recommendationis size 11 or size 12 seed beads. But needless to say, the row count is the same for any bead size. Hope this helps. Happy beading 📿

      Hi. Unfortunately with these earrings you can not use 10mm pins. Have a look at this tutorial, these are slightly bigger earrings, made in a very similar way: th-cam.com/video/Va7tQ2q3Ris/w-d-xo.html. Happy beading 📿

    My issue is I get confused at the end with the decreesing...maybe if u have time u can use bigger beads to just show the closing part only...
    I have made 2 pairs but my end always looks like it's not closing right... I add the last four but seems I don't have enough room to add between the last 4 beads so then I just pull.... and I end up seeing the post and string... Help please...I am gonna keep trying... thank u for your inspiration... And you willing to show💜🤗

      Hi Nyasha, sorry to hear you're having a difficult time making the earrings. If this helps: there are 2 rows of 4 beads at the back, then 5 rows of 8 beads in the middle and then another 2 rows of 4 beads at the front of the earring. If you don't have space for the 4 beads, most likely you're adding more rows of 8 beads than needed. Let me know if you manage to make them 😍

      In one of her earlier videos, she uses this technique, but in two colors. The start count is different, so it's not exactly the same, but the technique is the same. Perhaps that may help? th-cam.com/video/Va7tQ2q3Ris/w-d-xo.html

    • @JewellerywithAlexandra
      @JewellerywithAlexandra  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Nyasha, I've added a new tutorial for a pendant and a ring to match these earrings, and if you watch it, I've added the rows count and the number of beads for each row in that video: th-cam.com/video/AhHgf965S9E/w-d-xo.html. Hope it helps 🤞

    I have no problem with the tutorial until the last few steps when you decreased to 4 beads. It was frustrating because the beads are dark. Would really like to make this earring for a special friend. Is it possible to show the last few steps with contrasting color? Your earrings are cute.
