To people saying they couldn't open the 2nd door - you probably missed few occultists in same area as I did. When you open map, to the north of dungeon entrance (where you start the map entering dungeon) there is a part of map. And at the lowest point of that map (to the south of that map section) there are stairs that go down. I missed that place 3 times in a row...
to whoever is stuck even if he is "careful" with the civilians, note that they will be aggressive towards you if you go too close. When you see many of them, just take aggression from the cultists (they have much bigger range) from a distance and kill carefully, then you will see civilians to have blue names and being invulnerable. if you accidentally take aggro of civilians, run away so they can reset. Civilians = Devotee (that means any man or woman in civilian outfit, not hood). For the last room, make sure that you kill EVERY non civilian before, there are small rooms with 2-3 zealots that can easily be missed. When you reach the last room, and you have done everything right, it will probably be open even if you didnt kill the heretics outside of it (i run inside them room and finished them there). 3rd try was a charm for me, good luck :D
So keeping all civilians alive is no problem for me anymore, it's getting the second door open. I've recleared so many times and made sure there are no enemies alive but it just won't open.
@@zaetayo i believe that you are forgeting to clear a room, you need to check every stairs and every corner. My second try i thought i was flawless, but when i went back i found 2 (!) room with 2+3 cultists alive. Backtracking didnt work for some reason. Just take your time and left no stone unturned so you can get over it and never do that again in your life. Also, a friendly advice, future adventure tome's dungeons will have even more difficult mechanics to unlock everything, so you need to be focused and careful on them, preferably do them last in every region. @@player-ye3hk try to clear it from the first run, backtracking didnt work for me either. just double check every corner, i thought it was bugged too but when i focused it worked as intended
If people are having problems, and are not killing civilians, and the gate still isn't opening. You're probably still hitting civilians with your attacks. I hit one with a stray, didn't kill him, but couldn't open the gate. Did the run again, super careful, door open.
To add to this : When you get to altar room, check to see if some devotees run towards you when you run to the altar reset if they do. I ran the place 3 times before I realized some devotees were aggroing just by walking to the altar. They are all red but their aggro radius is small, just be careful there, you can go around the corner to kill the cultists.

Noice guide, the last huge group was not needed, you can actually see the door starting to open on few frames there. (And confirmed in game)

second door: kill everyone including every devotee
