I loved your video. I have good feelings when I watch your video. And yeah I'm looking for grants. I found my style. But no one around me believes in me. It's heartbreaking to know that I'm a Golden goose and no one seems to care. But I press on and this is going to happen whether I like it or not!

for me this is really too general...it would be great if you showed 3 successful applicants, 3 really terrible ones, and 3 that were somewhat ok and what would have put them over the top.....otherwise, this really comes across that you need to show how much money you can bring in, or you better know someone.....it has a somewhat ick factor to it
They make the forms virtually impossible for the average person to be successful in the application. Instead they have an office full of staff justifying their very jobs, by refusing applications, or making it unachievable.
Times like these I wish I was a British citizen. You have more opportunities for artists. I wish I could move to England. Maybe my rhode scholar husband will want to move back at some point. If anyone is interested you can check out some of my work on my plus page. Thanks.
We may have these opportunities but that doens't mean they give you the grant. I have tried for years to get a grant from the arts council and they always come up with an excuse. They have favourites that they fund.
Thanks for the video. I have been trying get an arts grant to do a music workshop and help the youth in my area. I am struggling with the process though. Do you have an email I can contact you on ? Thanks
