About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

Thank you Jesus Christ! I really needed this message because my mind is so troubled that I suffer from anxiety when I think I committed a small sin and I didn't understand it. @@judym.4988 Please tell me how. I am in my 50s and have suffered since childhood with severe anxiety with depression. Both my parents have died. My brother died in Sept. Last year. 10 days later by best friend's 19 year old beautiful daughter died suddenly. I could go on. God has cared for me and performed mighty miracles in spite of these sad things. I can't thank Him enough for all He has done for me. So what is wrong with me?

The story about the NYC teacher who was fired for having a Bible on his desk, took me back to the night I was saved in 1979. A coworker always kept his big Bible on his desk. He never preached to people. He didn’t have to. The Bible spoke for itself, sitting there on the corner of his desk. That man was the person who planted the seeds for my salvation and spoke the words I needed to hear the moment I needed to hear them. That night I fell on my knees in Holy Spirit faith and conviction, pouring my heart out to God and repenting of my sins. That Bible sitting on a desk was a simple, but powerful message. And Satan knows it.

Yah it’s so timely!! Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever, history repeats itself. I do believe America is under judgement it’s even more important that I give him my life!! Is it easy to do? NO but I need him to just take control and try not to have knowing son in my life! It will be worth it in the end! Eternity is a very very long time to spend. Choose wisely and trust GOD
My parents made me have an abortion bc I was still in highschool. They thought they were doing the best for me but that opened the door for the enemy to torment me. I believed it opened the door for the mental illnesses I battle with now as an adult. I have repented for my sins. My parents repented as well but I still suffer with all that came in spiritually after that abortion.

Shalom Chenequa , so sorry to hear , it does affect you and the spirit of death enter in our life , yes it is torment and depression and also suicide .I HAD DELIVERANCE ministry and the demon named himself death , I had repented over and over but nothing changed but when I was in a deliverance ministry I CAME FORWARD and said it clearly and hell broke loose , I was healed of depression and suicidal thoughts , yes THE LORD JESUS HEALED ME , you too can be healed , learn of the deliverance ministry , see a pastor and confess , it has to be the right pastor . 2 books helped me , also Sermons from Derek Prince , his book expelling demons , and the series ,curses and blessings you choose. Vito Rallo book Breaking Generational Curses Pulling Down Strongholds , easy to understand but such help . WILL BE praying for you because I know your pain , much love in our LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST , big hug *

David Wilkerson is truly a man of God Almighty. I can feel the Spirit of God in his teachings.
I used to wake at 4am and was excited to spend that time with Jesus. I would dance with Him. Share everything even though He knows. He was my everything. I allowed sin back into my lfie and things went haywire. My advice is to NOT TAKE LIGHTLY the Word of the Lord. Tremble at it and chose to serve HIm. Its been a challenging road back as a back slider who is confessing it now. In tears i am asking for prayer for that precious, powerful Spirit of thr Living God to possess me! I lay it all down. My ways are not yours God. Ive been proudful, self seeking, and hating myself for it. Ive let gossip in the work place effect me poorly. Ive alooowed being yelled at by my boss to break me. He called me horrible names and has asled the crew to not speak with me. To make me feel unwwanted. I just wanted to show the love of jesus. But the enemy took ground and now i am sick. I believe this word! I know His power and i want more of you Jesus. I surrender it all! Help me o God.
Please pray for me. I have been afflicted physically the past 20 years in my physical body and it affects my mind. I really don't want to take pharmakeia anxiety/depression/pain medications, but sometimes it numbs the nerve pain, the aches and the sores. However, medications can make me numb to prayer, the Holy Spirit, the Word, and the presence of God. It's a daily grievous tormenting affliction in my flesh and I have prayed for healing much over the years. I sometimes pray and ask God to take my life because I can hardly handle it on a daily bases for so long. Please pray that God would heal me, deliver me, and set me free 🙏
Father, thank you for giving us Jesus and saving us from the eternal death. Bible said by His wounds we are healed. I pray your divine healing will start to reveal upon this brother! Your Holy Spirit will be in him. Lord Jesus! May your mercy completely cover him, heal him and restore him!

Somehow, it is plain to see that you do not know the BIBLE. Like many who are Christians, you do not read the Bible; you do not know the Bible, and you leap from limb to limb hoping to feel some strength. BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW THE BIBLE. Here is my suggestion: purchase a "New Testament and Psalms" the NASB (New American Standard Bible) and begin to read in the GOSPELS, which are the first four books of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Read one chapter a day starting in the Book of Matthew. Then, read one chapter a day in the Epistles, which are the Letters to the early churches: Acts, Romans, Corinthians, etc. Then, read one chapter a day in the Psalms. If you begin to do this daily, you will grow in Christ and become strong. The sort of desperation you show by what you have written shows that you are completely weak and that you rely upon emotions and feelings to live the Christian life. If you do not begin to know the Scriptures through daily Bible reading you will remain in this state of weakness. So, I will pray that you will begin to exercise discipline to learn the Scriptures by reading them, memorizing verses, and obeying God.

We are NOT hopeless or helpless children of God. Christ left for us the Holy Spirit. It lives dwells resides within us. He is in us. The Holy Spirit is with in. All possible because of HIS bloodshed. Acknowledge HIM within you. I am 6 yrs clean sober cigarette free anxiety free depression free. Christ determines my worth. Christ helps me thru my heart ships. Helps me to rise above what I'm going thru. I HAVE a ONE step program JESUS CHRIST. My life IS because of my relationship with Christ. I work for a ministry. God has given me so many blessings. NEVER give up.

Wow this video came from God itself, his message to me. I finish praying, and I went to my phone and this is what came up. I suffered from anxiety, been having it for two years now . It's so bad. I remember this bible verse I used to mediated on it over and over again until my anxiety just disappeared. So if anyone of you guys are dealing with anxiety like me read Isaiah 41:10 and speak over your mind and say the scripture at loud it will help you so much. Say over and over again even it mean 10 times until you believe it .
Just what I needed to hear this morning! God kept telling me if I didn’t love Him, it wouldn’t trouble me when I feel I’ve let Him down. I know how weak I am in every realm. Ty Holy Spirit you will fight my battles and my enemies! You will do what I am too weak to do. Ty Jesus for your work on the cross! Ty God for loving me first!
I was thinking the same thing. I woke this morning with worry and dread and this sermon popped into my feed. God is at work and meets our needs as they arise. Not a moment before and not a moment after. He is always on time. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

I can relate to those writers of those letters. I lived a homosexual life l, although i have asked for forgiveness and turned my back , the guilt is so bad I can’t breath @ times and anxiety makes it worse. I need God’s mercy and forgiveness

God showed me this message in my recommendations two days ago. I've been dealing with this troubled mind for over a month now. It started when God took away the feelings from me, he was testing me and telling me to walk by faith and not by sight. To trust him when I feel empty and can't feel anything. And it gotten worse over time, constant blasphemy thoughts, warring in my mind, tormented in my mind, constantly worried and scared. Was so scared to blaspheme against the Holy ghost that I was scared to read or even hear the mention of the Holy Ghost. Ive sinned, constantly in the cycle of sinning, confessing and repenting but went right back to the sin. Some restless nights, felt like I wasn't allowed to sleep. So much tears and snot running down my face. Dealing with unbelief and doubt I was very grieved. He finally freed me with this message today glory be unto God hallelujah!! Don't get me wrong there still some things I gotta fix but with God's strength I can do it. Don't give up brothers and sisters. It's hard but of God is with us who can stand against us??? There's so much to say in one little comment section glory be unto God

I would also suggest David Wilkerson "Don't judge your spiritual condition on your feelings" -This One REALLY helped me. And revelations of Jesus Christ ministries "Sword of Goliath"
Don't get me wrong I still made Alot of mistakes, even today, like laziness and not praying when the Lord wants me to, but I know he's still here. That's not an excuse to sin tho. All glory to the Most High God

This has been happening to me too. I will pray for you🙏I've been struggling with the same demonic thoughts in my head as well. I think it's just Satan's demons are trying to trick you and me to come back to sin! I just want to let you know you're not alone. You're not the only one dealing with these tormenting thoughts. Just keep praying and don't lose Faith cuz that's what Satan wants you to do, he wants you to lose faith. So no matter how much blasphemy or evil thoughts are in your head. You have to try to counteract them with good thoughts of the Lord! Get to your Bible start praying every time you get one of those stupid thoughts! it's just Satan lost his grip on you to the Holiness and righteousness of God and the satan is trying to get your soul bottom line! Just keep praying and have faith in Jesus is coming back soon to rectify all this evilness in this world😇🙏🙏🙏
Hey Leana, it brings comfort to know I’m not alone through this that Jesus is with us even when we may feel like he isn’t, i have been currently going through anxiety, fear, intrusive thoughts, ocd and this has made my life extremely difficult but i am holding on because i know that Jesus is a healer i have to hold onto the promises he has for my life. I just wanted to say that I’m praying for you and for the people on this comment section and i ask for prayers. I have been listening to these sermons by David Wilkerson and they are very much annointed by God and lately been trying to get up and pray each morning and its giving me strength. I became born again 27 years ago Glory to God. I live in a small city in Ireland and use to wonder if Jesus's 2nd return would occur in this generation ? No one knows the day or the hour but its 100% crystal clear with the signs Jesus foretold in Matthew chapter 24 this generation will most assuredly see Jesus coming on the clouds ,Glory to the one true living God.

What an amazing teaching. Please all, pray for my brother Garth. He is a true believer and servant of God.... Yet, through depression of a financial loss, he attempted to end his life. Praise God (only through prayer, he survived. Unfortunately, he has done damage to the left side of his body. I believe that through your prayers for him brothers and sisters our ALMIGHTY can heal him. And it gets blamed on myself, and her father, none of us are without faults in all of this, but my granddaughter is to the point of suicide again and she is 16 now!!!

If anyone reading this is troubled and/or in pain, a quick testimony. Everytime I have woken up in severe pain (I have some pretty major health issues) basically bed ridden most days of the week. Nothing helps. I’ve tried doctors and pills, sometimes the meds work for a short time I maybe get one good day. Everytime I have prayed to the Lord (probably more honest to say cried out to), the lord has answered me with David Wilkerson. My pain for the first time in days will be lifted, all anxiety gone. The high heart rate (120 sometimes when sitting) that is caused by physiological not psychological problems RESTS. Man god is good. It was 5:00 about to start just crying in pain and I refresh TH-cam and this one comes up. I follow politics for probably 7 hours or more everyday, and all the burdens start to weigh on you. God gave me rest through mental anxiety and physical pain.

This applies almost more today than it did when Pastor Wilkerson spoke it. That's God's insight, given to this anointed man. I love this message. I want God's Judgement to come because I want people to turn away from their self-indulgence and empty/temporary "prosperity" and turn to Jesus. Trying to remove God, while idolizing gold, greed, gluttony, has rendered our nation weak, and afraid, and depraved. It makes me very sad because we did this to ourselves through the denial of God, the raising up of false idols, and by giving into temptations.
