He caused me so much pain that all that emotional abuse manifested into a physical illness. A deadly one, acute myeloid leukemia. Very aggressive, very deadly. That was after 12 years of marriage. It took me 14 years to get well enough to leave. I didn't understand what was going on and why he got nasty after I got sick and couldn't do housework or cook like I did before. I ended up disabled. Then I figured out that he only wanted a maid. Somebody to take care of all the adult stuff. Figured out he was a COVERT narcissist. I saved for 3 years to be able to leave and left while he was on a camping trip a year and a half ago. And I'm healing so much now!!!!! The only thing I want where he is concerned is for all the people he told lies to about me to know that he was the evil person, not me. That all he said about me was a lie.
