    Clearly the company took suggestions, prior version reviews, and design feature ideas to heart. This is a functional and appealing bag set. Thanks for sharing!

      @@PrepMedic I absolutely love your reviews and channel. Your videos are thorough, you're clear/concise, you describe and answer what we're typically thinking about, toss in your own experiences, honest opinions/thoughts or concerns, etc. Its a valuable resource for us watching whether buying for ourselves, knowing others that would need it (so pass the info along), or just learning something we didn't know. Thanks!

    The term for the proper type of infrared signature reduction is NIR near-Infrared, not "Nearly" IR, NIR is what you want in clothing and equipment to assist in blending in under NODs

    @prepmedic do you think it would work for a search & rescue team i do all the bls medical for the team and i need a good pack do you think it would work for that type of setting

    • @PrepMedic
      @PrepMedic  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would work amazingly for a SAR pack. That being said if you are purely carrying BLS supplies there are probably cheaper/smaller options that will fit the bill

    Hey, Sam. I’ve been watching your videos for a while (part of why I’m going down the paramedic rabbit hole) and I have a shooting competition that I’m volunteering for first aid in. For purposes of training, I’m between EMT-B and EMT-A (instructor said we’re basically low-functioning Primary Care Paramedics after the lengthened scope of practice course).
    While most of the contestants (in armoured division) are required to carry an IFAK on their person, it seems that proper jump kits aren’t provided. Other than bleeds/chest seals, should I provide basic diagnostic tools (Steth and BP cuff I already have, but thinking of pulse ox, glucometer, and especially a thermometer because heat exhaustion is going to be a concern with temps at 39C) and some other supplies, or just go with what I have?
    In addition, something I’m thinking of getting is surplus bedsheets to soak in ice water in case of severe heat exhaustion. Am I going too far into Ricky Rescue territory? Eventually, I plan on having a kit in case of MVAs. I’ll be driving a lot of highways when I get licensed-I might be posted in a rural location.

      @MATBOCK I'm sorry I'm sure it's a fantastically made item but it's still not worth 2200. At the end of the day you can buy other packs for the same job and do just fine. This isn't necessary nor logical for that price.

    • @MATBOCK
      @MATBOCK 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Brittanyslife13 There are other packs, and they are good packs; however, none have the versatility, are as light and as durable. These are not our words but our customers who repeatedly buy these packs to replace those other packs. The GRAM is one of our top-selling products, but at the end of the day, if you don't think it's worth the money, there is nothing we can say or do to change that. Best of luck and thanks for checking it out. We hope whatever packs you use work great for you!

      This pack is pretty specifically designed for SOF medics and other government buyers. It’s not for a private buyer

      @@MATBOCK, I‘m a Tool Development Engineer and have an idea how a product comes to a certain price. And I’m a consumer that always tries to get products that will completely fulfil their function and last for long. But I can understand why so many question the price for this product as to high.
      The little thing that is really “priceless” is that you as a company came to the comment section and calmly and respectfully explained.
      Big kudos for that. 👌

  • @Ekib-Niatnuom
    @Ekib-Niatnuom 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why didn't you include the price?. I saw the comment of another person at 2200 bucks! Medical + military= expensive. Its a nice review and I appreciate the info. Why do things only get reviewed if its super expensive? How about the rest of us who need gear and are on a budget?

    • @PrepMedic
      @PrepMedic  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I have tons of videos of budget options including a video I did last week that discusses how to help people without spending any money. As I say in the video, this kit isn’t for just anyone to buy. It’s for government buyers and specialized medical teams.
