Thank you, Dr. Dhiman, for this insightful tutorial. I am enjoying your teachings. One confusing thing I found is when you said "One by r" (1/r), to me that meant multiplication instead of division which is "One on r" (1/r). I stand to be corrected.

and regarding covid, basically you need to "linearize" r, by using instead of 2 a number >1 but small, like for instance 1.1 etc. 2 is too big for a time variant phonomena as covid

Thank you! Would appreciate it if you could enable auto-subtitle generation. Sometimes we like to listen to it @ x1.5 speed :)

Covid could be then called time-space variant exponential, what is the problem with that?

Sorry why double and not for instance 3x time exponential is important?

Ma'am while finding a steady state solution for an exponential growth model using the differential equation (dM/dt = rM) I am not getting M=infinity.
Can you help me with this?

NO, the important characteristic of exponential is not doubling, because that same statement could be said of 3x of 4x ... that property is generally true for any multiplication factor >1 for which ln function give a >0 value, that is it. Nothing magic about 2!

I do not think "Half-time" of Half-life" is that important, one I think could come up with the parameter of "Third-Life" etc. "Half life" it is simply another way to "characterize" the coefficient "r"

You could see if you had used 3 instead of 2 one would have got a ln 3 instead of ln 2, so there is nothing really "important" in the "parameter" 2, it could have been any number. "2" it just comes from historical / traditional characterization of these exponential events. Nothing more nothing less
