Parece ser que la había programado para ese mismo concierto de Asunción de 1989; concierto que acabó dirigiendo Giulini (3 y 4 de Brahms). Fue retransmitidos ambos conciertos por Radio-2.

ソウル公演のWPOを先月聞きました。暖かな音色は変わりありませんが、カラヤンとの爆音は絶対出してくれません。彼だから出してくれたんでしょう。４管編成にトロンボーン４台も動員してくれないし、コントラバス10人も動員してくれません。団員はカラヤンの要求である大音響に神経質にイラついていましたが、してくれたのは注目すべきです。凄い音響。
