I don't want to admit this really, but as a listener of Pantera, Nirvana, Audioslave, deUS, Lightning Bolt, Frank Black, Pixies, R.E.M, Smashing Pumpkins, Temple of the Dog, Blur, Nine Inch Nails, New Pornographers etc, I still dig this album, and this song. Since I never knew how to spell Peewee's saying to Simone in Peewee's Big Adventure, I never got the connection between that and the band name. I always thought of it as, "Oh-vuwa, Peewee!"
If you divided Lights into 3 equal parts you'd get Au Revoir Simone, well since they formed first if you mashed them into one person you'd get a less mainstream Lights.
needs some post work on the lip syncing. Good voices though, usually not my type of music either but I dig it. The chroma key effects got really annoying though. they didn't tell a story they just distracted and annoyed. I'm sure if I was high I would love everything about this video.
