    It still makes me so happy that you were such a mess over 11.22.63. I just love when people share my feels.
    The other book that never fails to make me cry is Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, but I think you have already read that one.
    There are books I listen to as audiobooks at work and then have to switch them off so I don't break down in front of people. Any story that has characters suffering from trauma, PTSD from war, torture, or abuse, etc, or anyone losing somebody they love... I just blub. I would like more happy tears books too, and while there have been some, I can't think of any now... perhaps The Binding by Bridget Collins. Highly recommend that one.

    "Pretty Girls" also had me this close to crying because of how frustrated I was at what was happening and the fear I was feeling for the two sisters, especially considering this could easily be based on a true story. It truly was upsetting.

    • @alanaz918
      @alanaz918 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Would you say it’s worth reading? I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it’s kinda just unnecessary violence over and over again.

    • @darkacademiacafe8238
      @darkacademiacafe8238 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alanaz918 I'd say it's worth giving it a try, but without having the highest expectations about it - that's what made it impossible for me to fully enjoy the novel. There's a lot of violence indeed, especially towards the end, but I think it's GREAT entertainment because of the number of events that happen in the story. It's just not the most spectacular thriller to ever exist. To each its own, I guess, I always suggest to try and read books for yourself and see if you like them, no matter the reviews. Worst case scenario you can always DNF it. If you end up picking it up: I hope you enjoy it

    Hey Gabby, I'm currently writing an article on the book Loveless and the power of non romantic love during the era COVID19. As someone who is a cisgender and heterosexual male, I was still emotionally moved by that novel. As well as relate to it (to an extent). Ex: "OMG! You've never been in a serious relationship?! You're so pure!! Is there a reason?" If it gets published I will let you know. Your review got me interested in reading it and I honestly felt like now was the perfect time in regards to my personal life. Thank you!! :)
