I worked at Hollister when I was about 19yrs old. This song was on the track list at first I did not think much of it. This was the first song I heard by him. But this is when I realized the genius of Deadmau5. He songs are insidious, it won't catch you at first, but after time you become hooked. I just remember one day I heard the part at 3:54 and I thought to myself "What just happened" I became in trance. The customer had to ask me if I was ok, I spaced out for a good 20 seconds lol. Every since then I loved Deadmau5 and see him every chance I get.
Shit was mad experimental across a lot of different genres, people were mixing up a lot of stuff too. Lotta high energy stuff was popping off. Hard to believe that shit was ten yrs ago. Where does the time go? Definitely gonna have this track in rotation for life lol
Deadmau5's music never ages. Made in 2010 and still sounds fresh in 2024. He is one of the only good EDM artists and he is one of my biggest inspirations.

That being said, this song came out before serum was a thing, so that doesn't apply here

It's not going to sound so good. Anybody though can Lay down some Tracks though with different beat change-ups, Fades, percussions ect. I actually DJ and am currently taking classes to produce. :D
