Sorry, but you cannot give Kelly Clarkson the credit for this song, it was written by Danielle Brisebois and Scott Cutler, and was first released by Trine Rein in 1993. She does a good version of it, though :)
No one was claiming Kelly wrote it. She sang it, made it her own, but Kelly would be the last person to lie and claim full credit for it when she literally wrote songs and didn’t take credit for THOSE. No one here is claiming it was 100% Kelly’s song so I don’t know what you’re complaining about or whom your comment is directed at.
