I can confirm that Lad&co is one of the top places to get fish and chips in Singapore. They use Haddock which, along with Cod, is one of the legit types of fish to use (a lot of restaurants and stalls use Dory etc. because it's cheap). It's well cooked and price isn't too bad.

帅哥晚上好啊，吃了几次这种炸鱼薯条套餐，(巴刹，食阁，还有一间快餐Long ..........）那个炸鱼都不脆，鱼肉軟軟，今天你吃的这家，鱼好像很脆，那个鸡蛋看了留口水😋😋，应该是很好吃，看了很有食欲

Apprehensive to try this place again. I went once when they were at the hawker. Kinda ex and small portion and the beef stew like average only. Long john silver at least consistent with the batter taste and fries.

You got alot off stuff wrong, they don't give curry sauce with fish and chips even in the north, it's just synonymous with chips, Alsos patch eggs are suppose to be runny , it's not a local sg thing the hardboiled ones are the cheap supermarket mass ones, and tar tar sauce is always suppose to have gherkin or it's not that tar sauce just tangy mayo
