As you may already know, Recovery Mode is a special boot mode that is present on most (if not all) Android devices. It's put there in case you run into an issue and need to perform a certain task. Depending on the OEM involved, you could be able to do a factory reset, sideload an OTA update, and more while in Recovery Mode.
Xiaomi recently released the Redmi 7 to accompany the Redmi Note 7 series. It's a little less expensive in terms of hardware but it's still incredibly difficult to beat thanks to its price. thanks bro i actually had a problem that is when update came i reebooted it but the phone wasnt reeboting it had a buffering screen
like it was loading the mobile had calls but screen was off i saw ur video and i followed ur instrouctions i pressed power and volume and fast booting started and now phone is ready thanks bro

(data saving technique) for those whose phone keeps on getting back on menu option even after trying these methods-
do this
1- reboot ur phone pressing power key.
2- immediately while it is rebooting press all 3 keys(hold on for 20-30 seconds)- volume up, volume low, and power key.
it will restart and open.

sir help only thing i did is i change the width and i click all the three buttons when i went to the main menu and now when i do that nothing hsppens unless u power on again and still in main menu.

Hey man, my mom has a Redmi Note 7 and for some reason it keeps on rebooting every time. It's almost getting unusable. She doesn't know anything about tech so she couldn't have installed a mod or something on her phone on purpose. I've already did a factory reset but it's still doing it. Any solutions to fix this rebooting issue? Sometimes she gets the the fastboot logo
a factory reset is usually the most you can do. if the bootloader is unlocked then I would also recommend trying to manually flash a freshly downloaded copy of the latest firmware.
this is what I would try if I were in your shoes. unlock the bootloader if you have to.
this is last thing I can suggest to fix any software related issues. it could be something hardware related though.
i've done 'unbrick' tutorials for xiaomi redmi phones that you can follow if you need help manually flashing them with miflash

@@sambanasateesh9008 yes I did but it didn't do anything, it ended up being a hardware issue however. When we got the battery replaced, it got fixed. Never expected it to be a battery issue tbh.
How do you customize font on Redmi 7? I kinda see a product sans font on your device.
My Redmi 7 is using the default font that comes with the Chinese variant. I'm not sure what the name is. You will need root access in order to change the font though

I'm sorry but the only way to get out is to wipe al data. When u do so your phone will restart

My redmi 6 pro gives 3 options reboot, wipe data and connect with miassitant. I would reboot it but after reboot only a circle would rotate and the screen would go back to the options. This happened after I accidentally changed the dog to 1000 instead of 392 I don't want to wipe data but please tell to fix it without reset.

whenever i reboot to system it takes me back to the main menu
this typically means there is something wrong with the Android filesystem (likely corruption or something) and will require a factory data reset from Recovery Mode to get the phone working again

sounds like a corrupt filesystem. have you tried a factory data reset?

you can delete everything (factory reset) from recovery mode if you want. but it's also used to connect to Xiaomi Mi Assistant (like pc suite) too

nothing is erased from choosing the 'reboot system' option. it simply reboots you back into the Android OS

if you select the "Reboot system" option then it will ATTEMPT to boot you back into the Android OS
IF it fails to do so (and boots you back to recovery mode) then your android OS is corrupt (not from your sister pressing two buttons) and you will need to factory reset to get a working phone again

@@belitagold5788 then you'll want to hope your bootloader is already unlocked so you can manually flash a freshly downloaded firmware via fastboot mode

Didn't work, I did reboot and after reboot this was again in the three ption skreen from the start

correct. the stock recovery is very limited in its backup/restore features (sadly)
I click reboot and it takes me back
then something is preventing you from booting into the Android OS. I would recommend selecting the 'factory data reset' option from the recovery mode main menu.
it will erase your data, but it should let you boot back into Android and use the phone again

iIn my case, the cell phone is stuck in a phase where it goes to open, shows me the logo and then closes me again to open. And it does this now for 6 hours.I cant turn off it.

I pressed the volume down button at the same time with the button below when you open the phone for ten seconds.After that,when I saw the fastboot,I pressed all the buttons (volume up,volume down,and button for opening the mobile at the same time) and I pressed resert on everything.After all this stuff I pressed reboot android.
