The R.A.T. V3 is the newest iteration of the Robanian Artillery Train series. Thanks to Create: Interactive, Create parts can now operate on other contraptions, such as trains and turrets.

While the armoured train idea is cool and all and even had prototypes for in real life the thing is it’s a big target and it can only follow a certain path. If the railroad it drives on gets destroyed by, let’s say enemies it’s gonna go off path and crash. It would also realistically be a big target for bombers. Now the mod is a fine idea, and it seems super interesting! Keep doing what you do.

I was thinking about Combine trains from Half-Life 2. But not as tall as the original.
that reminds me of one game called "Rail of War", those were good times on destroying the enemies with canons, AA missiles, ground missiles, etc. While managing the routes to complete the secondary missions for extra money and get into the service station to repair/refuel the train.
I used to play it a long time ago, It was a fun game

Create: Interactive is one of the best addons to the Create mod.
Create was originally to make factories feel alive, kinetic, and so on. Interactive takes that to the next level, with machines on machines, the physics engine with trains, it’s enhanced the essence of Create. This train emphasizes the combined power of machines like this. Badass is just the half of it.
Hey idk much about interactive but does it by chance fix the thing where you lag behind the train when it moves?
Is this what allows the turrets to work while the train moves? I can never get them to work on trains

I know from my own expirience how hard it is to make tidy and not ugly cannons. I'm not really into trains and don't have big knowledge about them, but this train is really breathtaking
Also thanks to this video me and my friend found such mod as frame blocks and it will give us great opportunities. We are building airships using Valkyrian Skies, Create Interactive and Create: Big Cannons for PVP. Now we will have so many shapes of blocks that we never dreamed of. Thank you!

the Koutetsujou is vastly different looking, you might be thinking of the Kokujou? that has more similarity

I don't think Combine trains have armaments. They don't even use human rail gauges.

Terrain was made with Tectonic and biomes o plenty. Terraforged also update to 1.20 and has similar generation

@Robadoin id like to clarify the original design looks incredible. I don't intend on changing much, but rather give it a fresh layer of paint. I also like to make inorganic things an organic shape while keeping its original functionality, so think more in that direction.

Yep, that's exactly where I got the styling from, was a mix of snowpiercer concepts and of the AA train I made prior
Now i just wanna make SnowPiercer with that mod
i wish there was like world war server that happens in early 1900's, with politics and different nations, and create mod, would be so cool
