I miss going fishing , here in south texas there is a severe drought and the lake is really low , plus alot of people jus go to make cookouts and leave their trash all over the place. Its a sad situation. God bless you RICHARD GENE!!!!
Looks like 15x48 I could be mistaken but that's what it looks like. If you get an aluminum boat make sure it's an allweld , do not get a riveted boat, they are junk

I've been catching flathead cats maybe 15 to 20 feet off the bank at the river, on live bait fish. And there's nothing like catching good fish on light tackle. Best tug ever!!!
@sticksentertainment this is the truth when it comes to fishing tackle, i had one new rod that i bought 13 years ago, my wife decided that its her rod now, ±3 years ago i bought a bunch of second hand rods and reels from someone that knows my boss, today for the first time in 13 years i bought 2 new rods that came with reels

Like your show. I use slip corks a lot when I fish. Love that technique that you used when fishing around bluff walls. There’s a spot I’m going to try in lake Eufaula like the place you fished. I think we call them pond worms in south Alabama. I live in Dothan. I caught plenty of catfish drifting in 4 to 8 foot flats on the Georgia side. Dragging the worm on the bottom. A lot of times using a bream buster. Fun to catch. God bless you and keep up the videos
What about a video using catalpa worms can you make one on how you use therm? On the bottom or suspended, do you cut them or put them straight on the hook where do you use them as in rocky bottom or muddy or sandy?

We don’t catch many blues up here on Norris lake but we do catch lots of channel cats and flatheads , not sure about those worms but we have what we call wigglers or green worms they stink . Awesome 😎 video your friends at Jeff and Ben’s outdoors
Another thing, 1-2# test, 7-8# test, when I fished broke so easy. We usually got it from Walmart, back then Stren was supposed to be good. Which I'm curious if maybe old line or line sitting in hot trucks or hot warehouses might make it break so easy. Just snugging up a knot 10# test broke easy. It was the 80's. Any input, feedback?
1-2# breaks really easy, 7-8# isn't optimal for 5+lb fish, as just a small amount of abrasion will pop the line if the fish pulls hard, especially the rough tooth plates of catfish. But 10lb line should work just fine for 5-8 pound fish, and potentially bigger, and I wouldn't personally use less than 10lb when catfishing. Poor knot tying skills will also pop any line, no matter the test. My go to is the improved clinch knot, it's super simple and quick, and it's super strong. And of course just about any size fish can be caught on any pound line, given the drag is set correctly, knots are strong, and the line strength isn't compromised by abrasion, stretch, or dry rot.
