Decided to learn Sub rogue as an alternate to all my healers when I want to dodge healer affixes and I just have to say - this is easily the best class/spec guide I've ever used (and I've used a lot as I've bumbled through my 11 alts in DF lol)! Incredibly well done, thanks!
Great video formatting, however I do have some, uh concerns, at some point you mention that sub rogue's only damaging poison is instant poison, this is not true. Wound poison does damage AND is considered a LETHAL poison. This basically means that it does have synergy with leeching poison which the video seemed to imply it did not. Now I see that slice and dice is mentioned to increase energy regen by 50%, I could be wrong here but none of my tooltips seem to suggest this ingame. One last thing, for premeditation you mentioned that upon using shadowstrike from stealth it will grant 10 seconds of slice of dice, this is true, however, if slice and dice is already active it will STILL grant you 10 seconds of the buff in ADDITION to adding 2 combo points, its not an "or" get combo points, its that you get both - this would otherwise have rotational changes but since you get rewarded regardless it doesn't change anything - super solid info on everything else tho keep it up!

For slice and dice I may not have pronounced it clearly enough since fifteen and fifty sound similar. And for premeditation, yep, you're right it's an "and" and not an "or". @@toemasmeems both rotations are very focused on performing tight complicated bursts where every global is important, similar damage profile and idk, both feel very similar to me 🙂

In the walkthrough part at the end? It's because of what I think is a bug with the Weaponmaster talent. Premeditation is supposed to give you 10 seconds of Slice and Dice when you do your opening Shadowstrike but in that example it didn't trigger and I got the 2 combo points instead. The Slice and Dice from Premeditation is usually long enough to get you through your opening sequence and then you'll want to refresh it when it drops off.
Good catch. After the Eviscerate in the Shadow Dance window, you'll want to at least get 6 CPs for your Secret Technique. If you used Gloomblade before the Eviscerate then you already got the Danse Macabre stack from it so you could do 2x Shadowstrikes for more damage if you need to generate more CPs. With Beacon, yes, pop it with your opening Shadowstrike to get its cooldown going as soon as possible.
I actually looked into how to pronounce it because I wasn't sure and I found a mix of answers. Some people were saying muh-cah-bruh and others said muh-cob. I still screwed it up with the "bray" instead of "bruh"

Sub is one of those specs I had to practice a lot with to start getting decent numbers. I would rank it up there as one of the more complex specs.

Pot is short for potion. The best potion to use currently is thr Elemental Potion of Power.
whats the dps loss do you reckon if you dont use flagellation to make the opener more simple?

don't you pop another gloomblade after eviscerate? for full combo points? and do you pop beacon after the first shadowstrike?
