Got that album the day it came out....just before Xmas 1979. Been trying to play this song ever since and always thought there was a third chord in the main riff but today you’ve finally shown me exactly what’s going on....many thanks from Bradford, England🙏
That was a great quick lesson for a great tune. Any chance you might do a lesson for their version of "Brand New Cadillac"? It's a song with a great riff and some nice soloing/rock fills.
Super helpful - Never could quite get the opening riff - the muted note on the opening riff was the missing link! Also, dropping the base note to a Db makes a good difference if not playing with a harmonica. Also, thanks for walking all the way through while keeping it short - much appreciated.
nice!It never occurred to me to pick up on a Clash song for some reason - Even though they're one of the few select Punk bands that I love - them and Fear are the head of the class for me. Pretty much love everything that the Clash did. Thanks for this one - I may dig further into the catalogue to learn more now
Would it not be Fsharp Bminor vs Fsharp B on the bridge? So fun to play and sing this one. It is definately a very upbeet dance feel good song. Just love it and your lesson❤
Appreciate your lessons, especially anything by the Clash, Big Fan, maybe down the line Complete Control they released as a 7" single and featured on the U.S. release of their debut album.
Oh heck yeah bro!!! Nice one. Throw backs rock!!! Dude that Tele would match my black strat. Hahahahahah. Awesome work as always!!!! Hope you are well and Canadian weather is much drier for you than this yuck of humidity 110 real feel GA. Hahahah

It took me a similar length of time! First LP I ever bought, I was 12 - and I'm 57 now. Going to try and work it up to a decent rendition I think.
KDA , your song selection, playing and teaching is outstanding
Thanks mate! I like to keep it pretty random, haha.

Some great lessons matey ♠️
Thank you ❤
Great stuff. Thanks so much.
Sounds good but shouldn't that be a Bm?
mmhmm

B minor at the 2nd fret. Why would go from F#m to B at the 7th fret?! Stay on 2nd and it’s Bm
It's the way Joe Stummer actually played it. Good enough for me.
Should be Bm. Why do you call it B?
