I definitely saw Tim and Alex's interactions differently. As a playful husband myself, it felt like he was intentionally trying to push the boundaries of how much Alex would tolerate...and then keep going. To which, I completely understood her frustration like, "it was cute the first time and I tried to be nice about it, but now you doing too much." I have no idea how their disagreement really probably went but I was getting play too much as soon as they got out the pods. I didn't like the "style" comment nor the delivery but she feels a bit bratty to me and that's probably how she is with all the guys she dates
Regarding Stephen and Monica, I knew immediately that Stephen was black. I didn't get that he did Ancestry to prove he was white only to see his history. Monica strikes me as someone who probably was raised amongst white people but hangs with black people. So what happens is she's educated and has certain things she wants in a man. I think she thought Stephen looked more traditionally mixed like a Boris Kodjo and was disappointed. She also like prestige. Even though as an electrician he probably makes more than a lot corporate people, it's not as prestigious to tell her friends and family. He's annoying always gushing over her, but I agree it's better to have a man love you more.
I would agree with you about Tim but he said that he bought a shirt his ex hated because she hated it. He sounds like a habitual line stepper and just masks it as 'it's just me, I'm stubborn'. I don't want Black women to always have to fight for everything. She said stop, so why can't he.
I agree black women shouldn’t have to fight for everything especially love and affection however, he also should have to do things that are just apart of his personality and existing. Buying the yellow shirt although PETTY, was his PETTY way of establishing that boundary. He can wear what he wants, still PETTY tho
@@joeandzar he asked her opinion and then did the opposite. To me that's not a boundary since he was asking for her opinion. To me if he had the shirt already and she didn't like it but he said 'but I do, so i'll continue to wear it' that's a bit different. He also said he wants someone to bite back... why? He doesn't want peace but then wants to get mad when things aren't peaceful? make it make sense.
Love your recap and review! I was so hopeful for all of these couples, but that hope is fading quickly.
A think a hopeless romantic is like a fool in love. There is a undertone of stupidity in there 😂
I agree with Joe 💯about Marissa
Lolz he be knowing
