I’ve actually been in contact with this person for about 1 week now, he started messaging me on gd telling me to play test his levels. He said: “check out my new level it’s my first collab” (referring to new word). He also made another level called ‘after Acu’, which I thought was a really good level, so I made a video on it on my TH-cam. I’m now worried that after Acu was also copied, and that I posted a copied level, which some people may use against me. I hope your level gets rated though, it’s really good :)
Sadly this is nothing new. Both of my rated levels got copied the same day they got released in hopes of stealing my rate. One guy even forgot to remove my name. He also just put his name 10 times over ppl that were actual playtesters 💀
i always knew this kind of thing would happen since rob made all level copyable, meaning anyne with a single braincell can copy anything, i really like my levels being private so no one can copy them :P
It didn’t even get rated so it is hardly a big deal at all. Just take it as an honer that some random low-life felt like stealing your level was a good idea.
the threat is the possibility of the level getting rated which just rewards theft instead of the actual work that was put into the level. the level was taken down thankfully but if it wasn't there was a possibility that it would get rated instead of the original

happened the same thing here with my lvl royalty, but luckily he took it down.
starting in 2.2 all new levels will be free to copy (older levels will retain copy settings)
