- HairBesties, This is my beautiful and sweet client @LaurenNikohl who is also an amazing singer who loves her icy blonde hair. I love doing her hair color so much. We used the Guy Tang #Mydentity #Big9 cream lightener on her to get her to a level 10 easily. Added Guy Tang #MyHero Collagen Powder with Olaplex to protect. Tone damp with Guy Tang #Mydentity Xpress Toner 5g of Titanium with 5g of Pearl and 55g of Crystal Clear with 6vol developer 1:2 ratio. Its weird to me that people love to have this hair color. I'm albino so my hair is almost white and for years I hated it. I've learned to love and embrace it now and use the fanola no yellow to make it moon silver. Mg hair us also 38" si whenever I'm out and its down, people constantly ask if it's real....I've had people be like "no its not!" And try to feel for tracks on my scalp!! I'd love to have that pearl color!!

I had a hairdresser try this color on my hair about 16 years ago. Turned out Lifeless, shine free, dull, brittle. Went to see a friend after the salon, had hair all over my boob_s. They can't do hair like this in Ontario Canada. We need this beautiful man here! ❤️
Sound like they didn’t use a toner on it. Or if they did, it probably wasn’t the correct one and it made it muddy looking

What’s crazy is that my mom has this color hair naturally! People literally all the time ask her how she gets it that way. She’s lucky! I have dark brown hair, I didn’t get her light hair. But I am going grey and I’m only 28, but I don’t mind honestly. You didn’t a beautiful job! Love it!

I’m naturally level 8/9 and yes, my hair lightens within minutes 😉 however, it is incredibly easy to over process the hair and make the hair white / see through to the point it doesn’t grasp any toner or grabs far too much of it and the hair gets grey and dull, not platinum. It’s far too many hair dressers out there who don’t know what they are doing, wish I could have my hair done by Guy💖
I'm a level 5/6 but no red tones. Like a really dark ash blonde. It looks light blonde in sun but dark brown indoors. My hair lightens to 9 in one setting. I don't do this anymore, too much maintenance. But yeh, I think hair colour and level don't always match up.
I have been following him for so long. I just LOVE how he has developed over the years and the products he is now affiliated with. And I adore this look of his.

That mix of Demi permanent dyes makes a beautiful white blonde. I use it at home. Stop using T18 it isn’t a toner! It just causes your hair more unnecessary damage. Love Guy Tang!

Love this video Guy. I'm in San Antonio texas where theres alot of Mexicans who have level 2 or 3 hair with medium to coarse texture. Would like to see you do this color of blone on them. To see how you would tackle it. If someone is already a level 8 or 9 blonde thats way easier to do than a natural level 2 or 3

Im sooo sooo happy i saw this video! I finally have the super white hair ive always wanted!! Thanks Guy for these great products!! Using the collagen powder.....i had noo breakage and i did a double process. And the toner is now my go-to for icy blonde! I usually use wella t-18 which makes my hair grayish white (which i dont mind) but Guys toner combo gave me that bright icy irridecent white! Its just awesome and i had to write about it!😍

I wish I had a level 9 naturally anywhere in my head hahaha I am a level 1 I’m Japanese-Mexican 😥 even with blonde me and Olaplex I need 2 bleaches, purple shampoo, toner another toner and it is never this white unless I completely kill and dissolve my hair. 😩😩😩😩 I need to try your products!!!!! Wow that is amazing! That is the most beautiful platinum color ever. When I had bleached hair I was never able to get it to this it was always either too yellow or too silver. SO JEALOUS! lol
This girl already has a very light natural hair color that makes it much much easier to get this white. (I’m a hairdresser)

This is a great example of science and art. You have to have a very deep knowledge of tone and color value when you do something this astounding.

It took me a long time to realize there are different types of blonde. I thought my hair changed color when I was little. Thought it went from blonde to brown. But it's actually just dark blonde now. But up until recently I had just assumed I was a brunette.

The white hair doesn't lift but the grey in between.. depending how light you want it.. when its blended with highlights it should look beautiful already.

I have always had this color. I use matrix v-light with 40 volume. Then I use a toner ultra light pale ash blonde w/ 10 vol. WHITE!
