I'd love to see corrupted designs of your characters, especially with how great of a design this one was, but if it's the only corruption song I understand, excellent work on making a fantastic mod
I like to think that even if the body is fully corrupted, the rage of the very essence of wrath still defies to be controlled by anything, even something as infectious as the corruption, shows how sin is a thing that is unavoidable no matter who you think you are.
My headcanon is that the corruption has absolutely no effect on Retro aside from giving him an edgy color scheme. He just let himself be corrupted for the heck of it
or that the corruption did get to retro but differently to where it did change retro and he took control of it and made it how it is. His fighting corrupt bf because bf is normal corruption and retro is his own more powerful version of the corruption.
The music is amazing and has a good difficulty, worthy of a mod like yours, and the sprites they gave to corrupt boyfriend are too original, not like the other corrupted mods that only change the skin of boyfriend, good work RetroRespecter

Retro is already extremely powerful in his berserker form and the corruption decided to take that power and use it as its own.
Just the bops in the instrumental have me ascending to the heavens. Well, I guess hell in this instance. And also descending makes more sense.
